I chose Terrasse Royal for a recent work trip. Room was spacious and comfortable. Split toilet/shower rooms a bit quirky but you get used to it. Older but very well-kept and well-maintained premises was a pleasant change from predictable, cookie cutter hotels. Not too far from the airport but towards downtown, I parked my rental car at the hotel and... More

I loved the view if the St. Joseph Oratory looming above us as we stood on the balcony. But inside our room was a cozy I bedroom apartment with two beds, a pocket kitchen, bathroom with great shower (and ergonomic tub) cozy little living room, and flat screen TV with all the cable channels. The hotel is on a busy... More

We visited Montreal during our tourist trip to southeast of Canada and we stayed in this hotel for 3 days. We were pleased with comfort of our studio - 2 separate rooms with kitchen and large bathroom. As we arrived from Europe with 6 hours time difference always we went to sleep around 10 pm tired from days walks. Beds... More

When I pulled up to this hotel on busy Cote des Neiges I worried. But when I got inside, the desk clerks were very helpful and the room was large, clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay at this hotel again. It has underground parking for $20 per night.

I made a reservation on expedia for a studio with king bed non-smoking with view one month before. I received a smoking 1 bedroom with 2 full beds. Smelled awful of smoke with spotty carpet and sofa and an ashtray. Had a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and sink. A little terrace looking at the construction next door which was 10... More

The hotel is located close to the Jewish General Hospital and St. Justine maternal child hospital, so it is very convenient for someone who needs to be close to these hospitals (was so in my case). The hotel is simple, clean, overpriced for what you get.

We were in a one-bedroom suite, with our son on the sofa-bed in the living room. We found the decor dingy and tired, and the kitchenette was very basic. We prepared our breakfast there, but wouldn't have wanted to attempt anything more ambitious e.g. the chopping board was ancient and looked unhygienic, even for chopping a bit of fruit, and... More

Hotel Terrasse Royale has a great location and nice rooms. It is close to a metro station, buses, and a taxi stand. The rooms are large and comfortable, ours included a kitchenette and sitting room. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and there are also food markets and coffee shops. The University of Montreal is very... More

Great location, but average rooms ...in fact the flush was not working properly on several occasions. It is located near metro, bus and with loads of restaurants and groceries around..walking distance to uni. of Montreal and Mont Royal
