I loved this hotel. The staff were SO helpful and friendly, really good free breakfast (as far as free restaurant breakfasts go), the bed was divine, my suite was huge with two nice big TVs, and the location was very quiet, safe and convenient. I was in town for grad school interviews and it was the perfect relaxing home away...

This place was a pleasant surprise. It was affordable (around $60/night) especially for what we got. The front desk upgraded us to a suite for free because we were waiting for a while as a large group of students and chaperones were trying to all check in before us. The suite had a decent living area with TV and a...

Well priced (except maybe the parking). The two bedroom suites are great when you go with teens/families/friends. They're not fancy, but the room was clean and welcoming. The front desk was helpful. There was an added nice touch in the lobby with fruit infused water and hot chocolate! It would be hard pressed to beat for the price you pay....

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
