Nice hotel located right on Sherbrooke just steps from Downtown Montreal, as well as the Montreal Metro. Well appointed with spacious rooms. Full service restaurant and bar, which the reviewer did not go to.

We stayed in this hotel in early November. We were in good walking distance to the main Sherbrooke strip, and went to the Art museum just down the block. It was a lovely hotel, intimate and clean, and the staff was lovely and helpful.

Stayed here for three nights during a business trip to Montreal. The hotel is quite well located, and despite it being on an intersection, noise wasn’t an issue. It’s a bit old and would do well with a renovation, breakfast is a bit overpriced but it’s practical. The small gym

Great little boutique hotel. Very clean rooms and comfy bed. (be sure to ask for firmer pillows if you like that...mine was super soft...so soft it drown out my other half... sooo positives/negatives :) ) Can't be the location!!! Two short blocks north of St Catherine

Cute boutique hotel. Clean, great location just two short blocks north of Sainte Catherine shopping district. Quaint restaurant with full breakfast. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again for location, service and price.

Various details of design/ fittings/ finishes/ accessories attracted us as being neat/ different BUT... drawbacks we hit: - In our room (a junior suite), be prepared to get down on your knees to operate the room safe as it is conveniently (not) located about 6" above ground level. For some, no problem, but at our age and with our arthritics, a major problem. So we just didn't use it. -The elevator buttons have a circle of light round them when pushed. But there is no light to make it easy to see on the panel WHICH FLOOR you want. Why on earth put a dark number embossed on a similar dark background? Absolut nuts. We saw other people having the same problem, needing to peer at the panel from a few inches away! -First hotel we've used in 40 years where there was no walk-in shower - you had to enter the tub to use it. For us, a major concern there was no grab handle to help getting on or if we should slip. - Service charming but slapdash. Imagine ordering croissants and jam, and getting croissants with mayo and ketchup! And the ONLY place in decades when you ask for a cup of coffee it literally comes in a cup covered with plastic wrap. Which fails to keep it hot on the trip from the kitchen to the guest room. Why on earth not have small pots/vacuum flasks like everyone else? -Service again. Charming but ... at the desk we asked for our check while we waited for the taxi to come. Guy says sure and goes to computer but is immediately diverted by another guest wanting some tourist information. Why didn't he complete our check first? 5 minutes later taxi comes, no check. We say we're leaving, he says he will email the check. One week later we call and say where's the check? They say sorry, don't know why it wasn't sent, maybe we mislaid your email address. Gimme a break! - As weekend tourists, a huge disappointment that, after returning from dinner out on saturday night, we could not go to the hotel bar because it and the restaurant were closed for a private function. - there were other things but I can't recall them now.
I don't know how you had a coffee issue, the room service menu specified small or large pot...

How far are you from Niagara falls?
By car to the Canadian side is about 7 hours. If you fly to Toronto it is a 1 hour flight and about 1.5 or 2 hours drive. You are better to fly to Pearson which is West and right on the highway

Is parking free? If not, how much?
If I remember correctly it was about $25 CAD/day, confirm with the hotel though. It was worth it. We used their valet park and didn't touch the car for 4 days. We biked everywhere in MTL. It's wonderful. The hotel was super accommodating of the bikes too.

"Try for any view BUT the north!!"
"Our room was on the side street and had a good view of the city. It was a king bed room, so had very adequate sleeping conditions."
"Stay away from rooms that end in 58 (e.g. 358, 458, 558). Tiny and dark."
"Penthouse worth the extra money."
"We were on the 12th floor. Not a great view but bright and sunny. Black out shades helped us sleep."
