Stayed at La Petite Prune two nights. Everything was perfect. The rooms were very nice decorated and also perfectly clean. The bathroom had daylight due to a nice window at the ceiling. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed my stay here. Thank you, Akiko.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and had a great time. Akiko is a delightful host, and helped us find parking as well as guiding us to some attractions and helping us plan our days. Breakfasts were delicious, and it was nice sitting at the communal table to talk with the other guests. Conveniently located close to a lot of great...

I had a wonderful stay with Akiko for 4 nights. Akiko is just the best host - always friendly and happy to make your stay as good as possible. Even before arriving, she was very nice over email and even had my room ready for me when I arrived before normal check in time. The B&B is in a gorgeous...

My girlfriend and I stayed at B&B La Petite Prune for a weekend in Montreal and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We stayed in room "Mori" and it was perfectly cozy for the two of us. There are many restaurants you can find nearby, many of which open until late. La Petite Prune is also a 5 minute walk to...

The B&B is located in a very peaceful street, but at the same time it is walkeable (assuming you do like to walk) to many things (the subway, Mont Royal, downtown, even Old Montreal). The rooms are lovely and well maintained. The breakfast is excellent! Good variety and taste. The host is also very flexible in terms of check in/out...

Thank you for staying at La Petite Prune! It was very nice meeting you. I haven't installed the air conditioner in the room yet this year because I don't think it's so hot yet, but if a guest insists that it be installed, I would do it. It will take only 5 minutes. I hope that you were not being...

Our host was wonderful. The home is beautiful and located by a university which means there are many young people about which add to the vibrant feel of Montreal. There are many places to eat nearby and walking about town is marvelous as well. The house is clean, tidy and the rooms are comfortable. At times it is hard to...

I enjoyed my stay at La Petite Prune. Despite the very central location, it was quiet and restful inside the house. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the breakfast was very good. My hostess was attentive, bu let me have my space.

My husband, son and I stayed here with his parents in August 2015. We rented two rooms, one for us (2 beds) and they had a queen. It is a charming old house half a block north of Sherbrooke. This was my 2nd stay at La Petite Prune and it was just as great as I remembered it. I stayed in the "Mori" room again, which was perfect for a solo city break. The room is small, so for 2 people might feel crowded, but it was great for me (Montreal has so much to see, I did not...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
