We enjoyed our stay at the Labelle. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful with each of our questions. The breakfast was a nice surprise with many options to choose from. The location is close to Metro but far from the Old Montreal section, at least too far for seniors to walk. Very...

The hotel is close to everything but it is outdated. The hotel is near Old Montreal. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and I thought it was good,

Originally booked this as a first place to stay in Montreal, but finally kept going back there. Decor not exceptional but very clean and functional, very kind and service minded staff, not far from main metro lines. Breakfast very ok as well. To recommend as a HQ for all your visits to Montreal.

The hotel is very well located, 4 minutes walk to Berri-UQAM station where you have access to most metro lines. The lobby is clean and check-in was friendly, staff was great. The room decoration is not the ultimate best, but the room is very clean and welcoming. The room we had had a little kitchen, which was very nice. You...

Overall, we had a good stay. A group of friends and I wanted to go to MTL, we wanted to be downtown but not break the bank. We decided on this place because it had free breakfast, decent price, and good location. Service; We were an English group, I am aware that some people in Quebec think little of English...

Nice room with large area, breakfast was standard, self-service. Location was convenient. Facility was basic do not expect something modrn and designed. Staff were pleasant but not too eager to help you. Everything was standard

On arrival at the street in the middle of a storm at around 9pm we were shocked by the amount of homeless and shady characters that were on the street. We were greeted by a lovely and friendly receptionist so came to the room which was ok and pretty clean. Later that night I looked out the window and the...

We stayed two nights for a lark after a business trip, and didn't want to spend all our budget on a hotel. This hotel was professional, clean, great breakfast (included) and right on the subway. The room was small, but certainly enough, so my only real criticism is the "fitness facilities" which are very poor- an ellipitical that doesn't work, two...

I admit that I had high expectations on the hotel. The photos were clear but I thought that the hotel was I little bit newer than it actually is. However, staff is very nice and everything is clean and neat. I'd recommend for the good cost benefit.

Hotel labelle is centrally located at a reasonable price. The suites are great and allow you to make your expresso or store delights like cheese and wine in your own fridge. We use the hotel as a pied a terre often when visiting Montreal.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
