Hotel is located mid-block downtown Montreal. About 6-7 blocks max to waterfront, shopping, Metro and food. Convention center very close Hotel and room very clean and modern. Room had fridge, Keurig and power blackout shades. Breakfast was well stocked but wasn't hot. (Except for the baked beans).Front desk was helpful with questions. For those driving, there is a parking lot...

The location was perfect for the sites we wanted to see and the parts of the city we wanted to explore. It is a short walk to the train station in case you are thinking of taking the train to or from Quebec. We had a lovely junior suite which was immaculate and spacious. The staff was consistently friendly and...

Well located. Very friendly and helpful staff. Haven't tried the gym so I can't comment on that. Breakfast was convenient but broken cappuccino/expresso machine meant a coffee disappointment in the morning. The room has a nice large screen TV and fluffy white duvet. Very simple decor. Raw concrete floor and ceiling. White pine furniture and floor. No bath. Shower only....

For the cost and quality of the hotel you can’t go wrong if you choose Le Dauphin! This was our second stay and it was even better than the first visit as they upgraded bedding (I will get to it later) It is not a luxurious hotel but at the same time it is far from just basic: a solid...

My husband and I stayed here for an overnight in June 2016 and very quite impressed. The price couldn't be beat, the rooms were clean, modern, spacious and well appointed with a keurig, microwave, fridge and iMac in the room, and we got a discount for booking directly on the hotel site. Though it was under renovation when we were...

The Dauphin is located in near Old Montréal and a stones throw from Boulevard Rene Levesque. This makes for an ideal placement amidst shops, restaurants and the business district with easy access to the 747 bus (to and from the airport). The hotel is newly renovated and has a very modern feel. Good continental breakfast (famous Fairmount bagels) and a...

This hotel is in a great part of town between shopping on St Catherine's Street and walking to Old Montreal. We loved our room. The layout was great, furniture modern and it had a good view. The bathroom was huge with a great walk-in shower. The bed was a little on the hard side for our preference. Be prepared to...

When going to the Vieux Montréal and /or Le Quartier des spectacles, this hotel is very well located. The parking facilities are at Le Palais des congrès which is only a few feet from walking distance. It is an indoor parking that is safe and secure. There are a few outside parkings but there is no one on sight overnight....

I stayed here for two days in late September 2016, because the hotel I often stay at was unavailable. The service was friendly, and efficient and the price was very reasonable. I had the sense this was a new hotel as my room was extremely modern, one of the walls was polished concrete; almost avante-guarde, but I found it interesting....

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
