I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Montreal.
Starting with the positives:
The location is perfect. It's walking distance to all of the high points in Montreal- minutes away from the river, Old Montreal and the wonderful cafes and restaurants, and you're...More
When we pulled up out side in the taxi on an overcast Sunday evening we both thought oh hell it's a hostel of some sort in the worst part of town, how wrong we were, we went inside to be greeted by a smart polite...More
My daughter and I chose this boutique hotel for a week-end shopping getaway to Montreal and we were so happy we did! The room, with two queen beds was delightful. There was a computer in the room with complimentary wifi. The room had nice wooden...More
Visiting Montreal in the summer during the jazz festival is wonderful- except for the traffic and perpetual construction. However, you can avoid that by staying at this cute little hotel, parking your car in their private underground parking lot and enjoying its central location, within...More
Spent 3 nights at Hotel Dauphin as we were passing through Montreal, and thought the hotel was a great value for its location and amenities. Our room on the 8th floor offered 2 queen beds, a refrigerator, a safe and a flat screen TV. We...More

Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted
city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.

The hotel is listed as being in old Montreal. However old Montreal is a minute or so walk down the street. I walked everywhere I went when I stayed here. The biodome is about a 25 minute drive. There is free parking on the street but it may be best to take Uber if you can. Driving through the streets of Montreal can be confusing at times.
