Our trip was a 3-day family vacation in August 2016. We chose the Embassy Suites for its central location in the city. We walked to most places, and for further away sights, like the Olympic tower, there was a subway station across the street. The subway was so easy to use. The check-in reception was friendly and efficient. Having on...

The stay was in mid-December for two days. Below are the pros and cons of staying at this hotel. PROS: Large rooms: All rooms are suites with a family room and a separate bedroom. There are TVs in both rooms. ‎My room was an upgraded to a two bedroom suite. It had 4 queen beds including a queen sized pull-out...

I stayed here over the Christmas break with my wife and 2-year old son. There were lots of great things about this hotel -- great location, staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and the happy hour snacks were a nice touch. Our suite was spacious and quiet and well laid out. The only issue that may keep us from...

I just arrived back from a two night stay here and I could not be more pleased. I had a very modern room, with stainless steel dishwasher, fridge and a small well equipped kitchen. The bathtub was a very deep jacuzzi although the bathroom was a tad small. We received two free alcohol drinks per day and free breakfast each...

The hotel is very near to Notre Dame Cathedral and the old port area, so it is a good base for exploring historic Montreal. The room was clean, though smaller than I expected. The breakfast was adequate, though the staff seemed noticeably stressed. The lobby was functional, though nondescript. Never got the room safe to work. Adequate, but I was...

Overall, this hotel stay wasn't the best hotel stay I've ever experienced. The room is very nice with an updated kitchen and the hotel is in a great location (walking distance to the old city), most of the staff were friendly and responded quickly to our issues, but there were many small things that over weighed the positive aspects. First...

I was very impressed with the Spacious and clean room that I stayed in. It was an apartment size suite. The breakfast offered in the morning was warm and tasty for a buffet. Very easy check-in and check-out.

great stay overall. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast choice is good. There are only 2 elevators so you wait quite a long time for one to come. The location is perfect.. in Old Montreal with many restaurants to choose from but the hotel restaurant is very good with lots of selection and generous portions.

As a Diamond Hilton member I have stayed in many Hiltons and Embassy Suites. Rooms at this location are great no complaints there. If you want to do work from your room the internet absolutely is pathetic. Average speed 1.2Mbps down and 0.5 up. OMG so so slow! As for the restaurant... total fiasco... bland and unorganized not like many...

Staying in Quartier International

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention centre and retail space with a multi-coloured glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterise the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
