I spent four nights here recently and could not have been made more welcome. Two fantastic hosts and a lovely home, well located in the heart of the village.
Easy to get around and tonnes of cafe's, restaurants and bars nearby.
My husband & I stayed at La Loggia Art B&B for 4 nights in early August (in the Romantic Room). Both of us enjoyed our stay very much, and here's why: (1) the hosts, Rob & Joel, are the most exceptional B&B hosts, ever! Rob...More
A friend and I were in town for the Osheaga music festival, and found La Loggia in a search for places to stay near the festival site (Parc Jean-Drapeau). The entire place is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and feels like a little getaway -- especially...More
I've been remiss by not posting this review sooner. I suppose I hesitate because as all the good reviews come in, it will be more and more difficult to find a vacancy for future stays - and I will definitely want to stay in the...More

The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party
spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
