The B&B is a bit far from the city centre (10-15 minutes by car), but there is a fast and frequent bus (number 7) a block away. The interior is well deisgned and our room (number 1) was very spacious, aleit with a smallish bathroom. The owner is very pleasant, polite and well-educated and a good conversationalist. There were however,...

My husband an I spent 2 nights at the Acacias in early September. Even though we arrived earlier than the check-in time, Marc was very welcoming and our beautiful room was all ready. We stayed in room # 1, large and very tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and there is also a nice couch in the room. Bathroom...

Acacias was recommended to us and we were very happy with our stay. We had a suite with kitchenette (appreciated even though breakfast was served). Everything neat and clean. We found the location perfect -- close to everything. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely to walk and the little back garden a delightful place to relax and enjoy the scent...

We stayed at Marc & Marie's for two weeks of carnival in a chilly Quebec February. Location is great; a quiet neighbourhood just a few blocks from a main bus line which takes you to old town or to Laval U within minutes. The room was clean and quiet with the added bonus of a large shared kitchen & living...

We stayed in Room 3 for 3 nights. It consisted of a nice size bedroom, a sitting room with a microwave and refrigerator, and a nice size bathroom with a VERY small shower (though it does have a standard soaking tub). Everything was very clean. Marc was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area - his restaurant suggestions were great....

From the moment of our arrival, we felt as though we were not particularly welcome: the host was annoyed that we rang the doorbell twice and then told us to wipe our feet. No hello, no welcome--just wipe your feet. I don't know where those 21 people stayed who gave this place 5 stars, because it certainly could not have...

We were happy with out stay here and I have to say that Marc was extremely flexible and helpful when we had to change our plans twice. This was a huge plus. We also thought the room 3 was a great space -- I wish we had taken advantage of the jacuzzi tub and the kitchenette. It would be a...

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the experience we had at Acacia. Having not ever been to Quebec City previously we relied on Marc's recommendations and direction to begin our exploration of this beautiful city. He couldn't have been a more masterful host and his recommendations where spot on as well as his breakfasts. When we come back...

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in Quebec City. It is located in a good neighbourhood, not too far from the city centre. There are frequent buses to the city centre which leave from a stop just around the corner from Acacias. There are also some nice cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance. Our host, Marc, was...

The hosts of this B&B know what they're doing! It's a quality set-up: clean, bright, spacious and convenient; This place exudes pride of ownership. Our host Marc was welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast. I would highly recommend this as 'THE' place to stay in Quebec City.

“Only three from which to choose. We stayed in #1 and found it roomy and comfortable with the bathroom a bit tight. #3 appears to be the largest with a large en suite. Either would be good with #3 probably first choice and #1 a close second.”
