What a wonderful find. Perfectly located steps from the Citadel and minutes walk from Place d'Armes and the magical lower town. The owners were gracious hosts, eager to accommodate. Plus, it has an upscale Thai/Vietnamese associated with the hotel. I highly recommend a stay at...More
My family of five decided to start planning a long weekend trip to Winter Carnival a few months before it started. We were delighted to land two affordable rooms in the conveniently located Auberge La Chouette, especially since it happened to be the coldest weekend...More
Definitely worth a look. Friendly staff. Try the restaurant even if you don't stay there. Authentic Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai food. Located right beside the main wall of the historic fort. Super close to all historic sites, museums, etc.
What a find this hotel is. The location can't be beat with parking (paid) close by, the number 21 bus which loops the Old Town ($2) right at the door, easy walking to everything, and best of all directly next to the wall and gate...More

Parking is at a nearby hotel, only minutes by foot but a longer way round by car due to the one-way systems. There is very little room in the car park but it was safe. Not sure how much it cost between $12 and $15 I think. I think the hotel was called the Petit Hotel but I may have remembered this wrong.

There is some parking on the street but Le Petit Hotel is a good place to park and not far away. You turn right immediately after coming out of the hotel and down a small street that is the distance of the length of the hotel and another behind, cross the road and Le Petit Hotel is the second down on the right. The parking lot is just below the hotel. These hotels are small, boutique type. If you can arrange parking at Le Petit Hotel before hand it may be the best way to go. As others have said there isn't a lot of parking, but the staff at the hotel are very helpful and will give you the best advice. We had no problems and were there at a relatively busy time. Once you're parked you'll probably spend your days walking through Old Quebec City, it is a close knit area and easy to get around on foot.
