We stayed here two weekends ago, using QC as a destination for a drive through the fall foliage. This hotel was lovely, with unfussy historic charm. We were on the very top floor (not recommended if you have an aversion to stairs). We loved the exposed brick, the view and the claw foot tub. Mother nature gave us a bonus... More

This hotel is the centrally located and directly across from Chateau Frontenac. For the fraction of the cost, you can stay in a historic building that is adequately equipped and offers great customer service. Pauline was extremely helpful in giving us recommendations on where to eat, what to see and do. Would not hesitate to stay there again we were... More

Though I have been to Quebec City a number of times and stayed at several other hotels that ring the same park across from the Chateau Frontenac, this was my first time at Manoir Sur-Le-Cap. I wish I had discovered it sooner! The hotel was close to the Terrace Dufferin allowing full views on the upper levels of the Chateau... More

This is the place you want to go in Quebec if you are looking for a small hotel and a good view all in a convenient location. The view alone of the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac from our view was excellent. There are no elevators here so unless you are on the ground floor, this could be troublesome for certain... More

I'll stay here again if I ever venture here again. The old styled rooms and friendly service was great. The only faults I had were a few of the staff weren't fluent in English and the noise level around 6am. I was put in room 2, a little respect in the morning hours should be a number one goal. The... We stayed in the "Deluxe Suite", or the "Condo" as it's referred to on-site, for 7 nights last week while on vacation to Old Quebec. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The Manoir itself is very quaint & charming. I especially liked the aesthetic of the exposed stone wall in the bedroom as well as the lovely view of the river... More

This little inn nearly has it all; great location, very charming, nice bathrooms (good towels, bathtubs, good showers), and partial views of the river. I was in #15, which had a lovely balcony where one can see the river and surrounding area. That said, there was no breakfast available, and the deal killer for me...4 flights of steep, curving stairs.... More

First, the good things; Location is the best feature of this small hotel. Room was pretty small, but that wasn't an issue for us, and still found it nice and cozy. It had a nice private balcony, although we couldn't use it much because of the weather. Nice amenities included in the room, like coffee and a small fridge. In... More

We loved the location of this small hotel, across from a quiet park that borders the Frontenac, and just a few steps from the river promenade. We didn't love so much the strange constant humming noise that invaded our room (#4) or the construction noise that awoke us at 7 AM on a Friday. And while other rooms may be... More

This is a perfect central location. We had room 11 and the view was beautiful. The shower was great. Some of the other rooms appeared more spacious. The only downside to a lot of these accommodations is the number of stairs to scale after a day of scaling the city...39, I believe from the street to our room.
