My mother and I stayed at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin for a long weekend while visiting Quebec for a girl's weekend. It was the perfect place to call "home" for the few days we were visiting the city. The hotel's location is right at the top of the Terrasse Dufferin which makes both the upper and lower cities very easily accessible.... More

Great location in the Old City, right above the Terrasse Dufferin board walk and beside the Chateau Frontenac. 180 year old hotel with small rooms and big staircase to climb. Authentic little hotel, we had a room with what is probably the best view of the boardwalk and the St. Lawrence River. Three rooms with little balconies on the third... More

We stayed two nights at this ideally located hotel, on the terrace, river views, and the Chateau Frontenac just steps away. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the second floor, two double beds, refrigerator, lovely river view, even a flat screen TV in this historic old building. Stand-up shower was a little small for a big... More

What a find! Great little hotel (~20 rooms) with friendly staff, reasonably priced and you can't best the location or views! (Okay, unless you stay at Chateau Frontenac.) I included a note when I booked that we wanted a high floor with a view and they gave us the top floor with a view of the St. Lawrence river. The... More

This hotel is all about its location, which is right in the old town and over looking the St Lawrence and Terrasse Dufferin. The hotel itself is fine and provides a place to sleep and wash. The room we had was in the basement and could do with a bit of modernisation, but in keeping with the hotels age. The... More

Steps from the Château Frontenac exactly where you want to be when visiting Quebec city. This hotel is quaint and you feels history. We had a water view from our room (#16) Hotel has everything you need In a small room. (don't expect modern). The bathroom is small but I'm a big guy and had no issues, but for us... More

Charming friendly hotel in a great location, most areas walkable. Park your car and leave it there. $4 fee for breakfast great value, parking $25 per day. Staff bilingual on front desk and helpful. Rooms basic, mine no fridge, limited legroom in bathroom if u get my meaning but minor compared to handy location. Really just stay here.

We spent two nights here while exploring Quebec City and hated to leave! We parked the car and walked everywhere - the location could not have been better. The front staff were fabulous - great personalities and very helpful at all times. The building has real character and our second story room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Definitely try the... This hotel is directly next door to the Chateau Frontenac with the exact same views and a stay is a fraction of the price. The rooms were adequate, the staff friendly and those views are spectacular. We would stay here again.

Came here for our first aniversary, location right on the Dufferrin Terrace boardwalk. Beautiful view of the St. Lawrence river. We'll within walking distance of all the sights and restaurants pubs and anything else you may want to experience. Would and will recommend Chateau De la Terrasse 😀
