We stayed for 2 nights and did not want to leave. Pascal the concierge and Jessyca at the front desk made our stay a most memorable one. Great location just outside of the old city. There is no doubt when returning this is the #1...More
Pascal greeted us at the curb and took care of our luggage and car. He also turned out to be an invaluable font of information about the hotel and Quebec City as the concierge along with Jeremy and Alexis during our stay. Evelyn greeted us...More
I spent two nights here on business and can report no problems. The staff were pleasant and when I asked for a quiet room, they gave me one well away from the street. The view was pretty rotten as you can see from the picture...More
The location is right at the entrance of the old quebec city. The service of the staff(lobby boy, reception, concierge) is very helpful during the whole stay. Nice breakfast buffet provided in the ground floor lounge. It's a decent stay experience.
This is atypical of the Marriott's I have stayed at. Perfectly located. The rooms are dated but might be considered old charm. The staff is friendly but you and inexperienced. I think if I returned I might try one of the small hotels within the...More

You are extremely close to the old city...probably a 5-7 minute walk before the shops and restaurants actually start (or less). Although some of the streets are cobblestone, not all of them are...nor the sidewalks so you should be fine for walking. If staying at the Marriott...if you exist the hotel on the side that has the courtyard...the street right in front of you brings you right into the old city. Ask the Concierge if you are unsure...the staff at the Marriott are very helpful. If you want to visit the Citadel which I strongly recommend...that walk will be a bit longer and a bit uphill...but the view of the city and surrounding area once on the hill will be worth the effort! It is truly a beautiful city and lots of great restaurants as well.
