The Auberge reception abd check in is nice. The breakfast area is too small for so many guest and breakfast selection is minimal. The staff is friendly. The building is a mace with stairs and different levels. Our room was nice, but we could not get the bad smell away. We had our door or window open at all times....

Dear RanPanday, Thank you for having stayed at the Auberge Québec and for writing this review. We are glad you enjoyed your room and our employees. Unfortunately, we note that you did not like the smell of the products used to clean our rooms. It is important to remember that the continental breakfast is free for all our guests and...

We too were taken here as part of the Jonview tour and I agree with the previous comments that we should never have been put in a hotel of such poor quality. We were given a ground floor room that opened onto the carpark with a door that didn't secure properly, the toilet was not secured properly to the wall...

Dear qwerty222222, Thank you for having stayed at the Auberge Québec and for taking the time to write this review. The Auberge Québec is a 2 star hotel that offers a free continental breakfast to its guests. The hotel's decor is not modern, but the hotel is clean. We have a maintenance team that is dedicated to this property. Our...

Dear spottypotts, Thank you for a review Auberge Québec. You must consider that the Auberge Québec is the most affordable hotel in this sector of Quebec City. We have several other hotels that are more modern and offer more services. Obviously, the price asked for these modern hotels is higher than that applied to the Auberge Québec. Auberge Québec is...

It was a last minute decision to head to Quebec City and we stumbled onto this hotel. The price was right at about $85 a night and free parking. This place has a strange layout so follow the directions they give you to your room and all is good. The bed was extremely comfortable and had fresh linens. I slept...

Dear Jaboda, Thank you for having stayed at the Auberge Québec and for taking the time to write this excellent comment. Indeed, our inn offers a very low price for the area. You are close to the Old Quebec and to the main highways leading to Quebec City. Also, as you say, we try to be as eco-friendly as possible....

I understand that this is a budget hotel. However my room (220)smelled bad. There is no excuse for this . Standards should always be upheld. This hotel should be torn down and replaced with a better budget hotel.

Stuffy, carpet smells like it hasnt been cleaned since 1965. If you have asthma or any respiratory conditin, stay away. I'm usually fine but I was coughing blood by the time I left... I aired out the room the entire day and it was a little better, but the air was stale and still smelled like cigarette. The rest was...

Stayed here for one day, the room was a little small but nicely laid out, the furniture was very nice and the room was nicely decorated with sort of an elegant antique style to it. It was very nice! The room and bathroom were very clean, the place was quite, the television was a good size, the little fridge worked...

This motel is good if you are just looking for a stop over when on a road trip. We stayed for one night and that was enough. The motel is like a maze of corridors with a few stairs making lugging suitcases to and from the room quite a pain. The decor is Very old fashioned and the hotel smelt...

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and basic facilities. Certainly provides value for money. The only disadvantage may be the location, although there is public transport nearby, which makes it fairly easy to get into the city if you don't have a car. Overall, would definitely recommend if you're not looking for a simple room to stay in (very cute...
