This is a very nice boutique hotel located within a few steps from the Petit Champlain Quartier. Very cosy and romantic feel, the lobby is welcoming and so is the staff. There is a wine distributor that I found was a great idea. Our package included free parking, breakfast and internet. Breakfast was continental buffet with no A La Carte... More

Excellent service, location and stay. Particularly enjoyed Occitane products that were available in the room. Restaurant associated with the hotel is excellent. The possibility to have access to a glass of wine in the lobby with the use of a card provided at check in is innovative and fun although wines are a bit pricy.

This was a great hotel for our needs and the needs of our friends. They went out of their way to accommodate us. I liked the front desk staff and all of the people working at Hotel 71. Breakfast was good. Staying in the lower section of old Quebec was quiet and peaceful with plenty of restaurants, shops and scenery.... More

A very good hotel in a very convenient location. Service staff members were excellent. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because shower area is gross and disgusting with mildew. Needs a good power washing. This was in room #528.

Hotel 71 provided a lovely base to explore Quebec City. It's located in the lower town, which has fewer tourists in the evening, but is stunningly picturesque. The hotel rooms have high ceilings and huge windows. We would certainly return.

This is right in the middle of the lower city, which doesn’t mean anything until you’ve been there. It’s the perfect location for just about everything. Gorgeous building that was once a bank. Contemporary feel to the hotel and the rooms, but everything was beautifully thought out. The most comfortable bed in the world! Wine bar was self-service and it's... More

Lovely hotel - great location right in the heart of old Quebec. Walking distance to everything. Beautiful showers/bathroom with l'occitane toiletries. Service was faultless and staff very accomodating- go out of their way to assist you. Had a movie night and they brought hot popcorn and water but choice of movies a bit dated.

Spent 3 nights recently at the 71. Great location on a relatively quiet street. Staff is great, rooms are nice and clean. The shower is take home good. If you have a room on the street side and are high enough, you have a nice view of the harbor. The restaurant has a very nice included continental breakfast. The restaurant... More
