We rented room 5, the loft. It was quite large, amazingly quiet, and had interesting old wood walls. There was a good view from the deck and from the few small windows. It was clean and comfortable. I guess we didn't investigate the rental well enough, as the gite was quite far from the hotel where one checks in, and... More

We booked the 1 Bed Room / Semi Private Bathroom. You have access to a full kitchen and 3rd floor terrace which overlooks the St Lawrence and great views of the Chateau Frontenac - through the summer there are fireworks on Saturdays and Tuesday at 10pm - the launch deck is directly in front of the 3rd floor terrace. We... More

Since I’m a history buff of sorts, I could not pass up on visiting Old Quebec City. The surprise was that it’s very romantic, and easy to explore. Lower town is chock full of shops, but that’s ok. The shopping is actually good-especially for furs, moccasins and leather products. I stayed at a Gite, otherwise known as a B&B. Gite... More

My parents and I stayed here for a few nights and we absolutely loved it. Three of us in one room was a little cramped -- there's very little space to move once the sofa bed is folded out -- but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. We had the floor to ourselves, so the shared bathroom... More

We decided to spend New Years in Quebec city and decided to rent one of their lofts which is offsite and advertised as accommodation for 6 but barely fit 4 of us. I would expect that someone would bring us to this loft but we were given a map instead??? Upon arriving at the loft we discovered we had one... More

IMPORTANT: This is not a hotel, but a Gite. There is no lobby or anyone working at this site. You must check in a mile away and either walk uphill or taxi to the room. That being said, it's a great location halfway between upper and lower old city. (It's also a walk several blocks to breakfast.) The rooms are... More

We stayed in the 2nd floor Alex room, a single room with a shared bathroom down the hall. The queen bed was nice, but both the pull-out couch and the twin size cot had thin mattresses overpowered by the springs underneath. My kids didn't mind, but if it had been for me, I'd have put the mattress directly on the... More

We booked and secured with a credit card, a mid-week reservation for this hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived at Hotel St-Paul, where check-in is done, our reservation was lost. The reception staff was very quick to state the reservation did not exist, even before looking in the computer. They eventually found it but at a different date. Although I had... More
