My experience in Quebec City could not have been more pleasant thanks to this hotel. I stayed for three days with my mother but would have stayed a few more nights given the opportunity (without hesitation). First off, the location is perfectly central. Only a few minutes' walk to the famous Chateau Frontenac, main streets (some are steep but easy...

Great location, nice staffs and cozy room. It located in old town walking distance to every historical sight. There is a street with stores down the hill so there's nothing to be worry about the dining. The staffs are all friendly and especially the room is nice and clean

We loved this hotel. My 15 year-old said it was the best we'd stayed in and he's not one to give many compliments. The room was spacious and clean. The amenities on the lobby were excellent with on-demand espresso and coffee as well as wine and snacks. The breakfast provided was much better than a typical continental (we were there...

One-night stay over the Easter weekend. Positives (1) Well located; inside the old city walls. Most places of interest to tourists are within walking distance. (2) Hotel has a some parking within its compound (costs extra). This is rare for the old city and is convenient if you're driving. Reserve your parking when you book your room. (3) Reasonable price...

Le Champlain Hotel was extremely comfortable, quiet and yet still friendly. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. You are close to everything and we walked to see the sites from the hotel. The staff were helpful and we loved the wine bar.

My wife and I spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located right in the middle of Old Quebec, within easy walking distance to many attractions, which suited us perfectly since we were traveling without a car. One note to those arriving by bus or train: While it looks close to Gare du Palais on...

Thank you to the reviewer who suggested booking Le Champlain with the owner. It was a delightful hotel, tastefully renovated and handy to all the Old City sights. Because we booked with them, a lovely breakfast was included in the cost which was also reduced by $5, if you told them prior to midnight that you didn't need a towels...

We spent Easter weekend at Hotel Champlain. Booking directly with the hotel vs any website got us the best price plus free breakfast. Location is sensational. The building is new, and it has its own parking (limited spaces). The rooms we used (2 families) were very spacious and clean, bathrooms were modern and fairly spacious. TV program had hundreds of...

Perfect location for walking around Old Quebec. Everyone was very friendly and we could park our car - a minivan - right at the hotel. We had a room without a view - which was perfect since we were there to wander the city and not to sit in a hotel room. Excellent price even with paid parking and breakfast.
