Great little boutique. Great location. Friendly staff. Room was a bit smaller than what you expect from a big box brand name hotel, but it was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Older buildings are way more solidly built than new hotels. Parking is available for a reasonable $5/day.

W came to Canada first time. That stay at Quebec City was amazing partly because of that hotel (Hotel du Nord). The stuff was friendly from the first second.A receptionist told us about all the activities we can have that night, helped us to find all the places we planned to visit.

True the Hotel du Nord is a bit distant from Old Quebec so by car it's fine, however walking will be a good 40min long. Otherwise bus number 1 seems to be convenient as well. We stayed 2 nights. Check-in around 9pm was very nice, great welcome, big smile (sorry didn't catch your name...) and check-out was also friendly. Could... More

Get what you pay for, thank god did not book more than one night. Spent the extra dollars the next night to stay in the old city. Whenever it was last renovated, it has since seen a lot of wear and tear, but not necessarily a lot of upkeep since then. Breakfast was adequate, and neighborhood seems ok, but just... More

Stayed for a week. The price was inexpensive for a hotel fairly near old Quebec and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool is a salt water pool and they keep the temperature cool in it. We did swim every day though. We did walk a few times to old Quebec and walked back. This was around a 10000 step... More

Well priced, slightly outside the main city center. Easily accessible by bus or car - about a 45 minute walk. Helpful staff and free breakfast! Our room was a bit small, but the suites looked much bigger.

L'Hotel du Nord is located a couple of miles away from historic downtown. To get to downtown you can either walk (about 40 minutes) or take a bus. Pluses: 1. For Quebec city this hotel is fairly inexpensive. 2. For $5 a day you can use their parking lot and come and go as you please. 3. Located right near... More

This was our second stay at this hotel. We were just in town for one night prior to a cruise. We found this hotel to be close enough to both the train station and the cruise port (13 dollars from train to hotel and 18 dollars to the port). It was the only affordable hotel we were able to find.... More
