If you are someone who spends hours researching B&Bs comparing location, amenities, reviews and price, look no further. My husband and I just returned from our second visit to J.A. Moisan and Quebec City. We spent 2 nights at Auberge J.A. Moisan and could not...More
I've stayed at over a hundred b&bs and this was one of the best. The host was incredibly nice and welcoming. The location is incredible...right on Rue St Jean, but there was absolutely no noise heard in our room that overlooked the street. Bakery next...More
Auberge J.A. Moisan is a magnificent place from which to base your getaway to beautiful Quebec City. From the beginning to the end of our 5-day trip, Clement and Nathalie were most gracious hosts, cheerfully serving us and freely sharing touring advise and insights into...More
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Managed to acquire a room last minute and grabbed it based on previous reviews. Well, all the reviews are correct. It seems as if the proprietors have been doing this for some time based on the...More
We only stayed one night at this delightful B&B but had a wondeful experience. Clement was so helpful and enthusiastic about his city and it's history. Although the room was small it was equiped with everything needed and had a comfy bed with lovely linens....More

I agree with Kalli3. Since you have stayed there before, you are familiar with how customer-centric they are. Giving him a heads-up will give him the opportunity to create workable options for both you and him.

I believe J.A. Moisan B&B is open during December. The winter rates are probably better than summer or during the winter carnival (February). The J.A. Moisan B&B website should have the rates posted for you to see. The J.A. Moisan breakfast, location and ambiance are fantastic so don't just look at price when comparing to other B&Bs.

NO. There is one very narrow flight of steps to the commons area, and another flight to the sleeping areas. Both flights have a sharp turn near the top. I also feel it would be difficult, although not impossible, for a "disabled" person to enjoy Quebec City. It is very hilly. I did see some people in wheel chairs, but VERY few. This is just my opinion.
