My wife and I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for 4 days and 3 nights. This B&B is located within the walls of Old Quebec. Location is within short walking distance to all major attractions. The rooms are a good size, beds are large, rooms and bathroom are clean, TV/heat/AC included, and has all the amenities of a 4...

Happy to report that this place is as described here on Tripadvisor - a great pick. Since we drove in from NY, I needed a place with parking and I wanted to stay in the old part of the city. The location is great, you can walk most anywhere (and we did) - plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The...

We visited Maison Historique James Thompson in February, 2017 (we were there for the Quebec Winter Carnival). The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of all the old city has to offer. The hostess, Guitta, went out of her way to make all the guests feel at home. There is parking here (tight, but onsite), and she did her...

This place is such a must do! You can walk around Quebec City and never use your car. One of the rare places with parking within the walls. Breakfast was amazing, there was so much variety and choices available. The top room was to dream for. It has huge wooden beams.

We spent six days at Maison Historique James Thompson and they were GLORIOUS -- not just because the location was absolutely ideal, but because the proprietor, Guitta, was unbelievably responsive to her guests needs. 'What time would you like to have breakfast'? 'Can I drive you to this location?' 'I can do the American to Canadian money exchange at the...

We loved our stay at this perfectly located B&B. We could walk everywhere in the old city. Our room was very comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfasts were what really put it over the top though. It started with a great cup of coffee and fresh fruit. Each day you have a choice of eggs, pancakes or French...

This is a very nice quaint B&B in Upper Town (Old Quebec) You are only 1/2 a block away from Rue Saint Louis, a busy little street full of shops and restaurants. The B&B has been run by the same lady since 1996 and is everything you could want in a B&B. The breakfast was more that we could eat....

The MHJT was a highlight or our short stay in Quebec City. The house is an attractive combination of history and comfort, without being too fussy. The location gives easy access to the entire old city on foot--which made free parking a plus, since we didn't use our car once in three days. The house is decorated with taste, avoiding...
