This place is a joke! We’ve stayed here many times and spent thousands of dollars here of the year for hockey and baseball tournaments due to its close proximity to the Cooperators Centre. However, 3 days AFTER my wife and 13 year old son checked out we received stating that we were being charged $800 due to a damaged door. The door worked fine for my wife and son the entire stay. Not to mention if it wasn’t working, she wouldn’t have tried to pry the door open as she doesn’t carry a pry bar in her purse. Instead she would have went to the front desk and informed them of the damage. She contacted the manager of the hotel and and was treated like a criminal and had no empathy for the situation. We asked for pictures and videos of the door and even the room number, but they would not provide either. We have been dealing with this since well before the new year and haven’t made any headway and are just met with an unauthorized $800 transaction. We have had friends from another team get charged $800 for a tv that wouldn’t turn on. The manager was confronted and they were met with the same nonsense…sucks to be you. Another friend’s hockey team stayed here and found a dead mouse in the sheets! This place is a turning into a dive and the management is incompetent. Their lack of accountability and mismanagement is going to cost this place a lot of business. We will Never stay here again and will ensure everyone we know avoids this place like the plague. Blaming people and charging them ridiculous amounts of money to pay for their hotel falling apart is asinine.

Horrible experience! My son and I had a quiet stay here last weekend while in town for hockey. 3 full days after checkout I get an FYI email from the Hotel Manager stating they have charged (unauthorized!) my credit card $800 for a damaged lock! We had zero issues with the lock/room/door were in and out and everything worked normal and when we left to head to the rink everything was fine. I’ve asked for explanation, pictures, video from hall, etc. Get nothing. Then a call another 2 days later saying they completed their investigation, and the charges will remain. I get one pic of a door that looks pried open (see attached) with the deadbolt open and again no real description or proof of how this could’ve happened. We didn’t even use the bolt the entire stay. They have not even confirmed room number for me. No call from anyone until 3 days later, no questions asked to me like, did you have issues with the lock, etc just what I feel like is a blame of vandalism to a regular customer! My son and I are both small people and there is no way this was done on our part. I have reached out countless times to the property manager, Marriott corporate, the CEO of MLS Management who owns the hotel to resolve this issue and have gotten nowhere. We’ve spent thousands at this property for sports, never again and I will see to it that you lose a lot of customers over this and that my money is returned. Very poor and unfair treatment, communication, and just overall business conduct.

We had a total of 3 rooms. I was on the 4th floor, and other family members were on the second floor. The rooms were big and comfortable. The problem: on our way out at 4:30am to take the plane we noticed some dead cockroaches 🪳 on the main floor. When I told my other family members about it, my dad said he killed 2 in his room on the second floor. We called the motel to inform them and they said it’s not cockroaches it’s maple bugs. NO, it’s cockroaches, I know one when I see one. I looked up maple bugs and it’s NOT maple bugs! We were there nov 5 to 7.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I was given a parking ticket even after registering my vehicle with the front desk upon check-in, but the staff at the front desk quickly acted to have it cancelled. Overall, the hotel is fairly well kept and clean. There is a nice variety of options for breakfast. My biggest concerns are the bedding and towels smell like they haven't been cleaned... they have a strong odor of musty, stale sweat - makes it difficult to sleep. Not sure if it's their washer/dryer machines, storage, detergent (or lack of), or if they aren't changed in between guests. The shower caulking could be cleaned up and replaced - looks like mold has been growing for a while.

Okay hotel in an interesting neighbourhood . The room was okay the living area sofa was a little tired the bathroom tub drained real slow. Some street noise all thru the night. Unless I needed to right near Pasquale hospital or I wanted to walk to Mosiac stadium I would pick something else next time

We stayed here for a Rider Game. First of all the increase in price for games is insane. Second considering how much I had to pay for a room, the value for money was horrible. Our room wasn’t clean, there was still garbage in it from the previous guests. The breakfast was terrible and they were out of so many things it was picked over and just not good. The front desk staff were rude and not helpful at all. For a sold out night at the hotel, there was no manager on duty and they were clearly understaffed and ill prepared. I would not recommend.

We enjoyed the big room and full kitchen. Also we found it super quiet…never heard a thing despite being in a busy location. This hotel would be perfect for someone who needed to be close to the hospital as it was right next door.

This hotel was awesome. My only complaint were the beds. They were a tad uncomfortable. Other than that we were impressed with the hotel room, the pool/lazy River/splash park, continental breakfast. Overall was a great weekend getaway! Thanks to the residence inn for a great stay

Such good service!! I checked in with my father who was starting cancer radiation treatment at the hospital close by. Such a tough time for us was made easier by the excellent staff. Nikki at front desk helped us many times and Jessica also was so friendly. Very clean rooms with all that we needed.

Well this is a nice hotel. Clean well kept hotel with pleasant staff. My issue is all the fees including a Mastercard fee. It’s just Pennie’s really which kind of makes it worse. They charge room, a destination fee, a parking fee to park in an open parking lot(kind of weird) and then the usual taxes. Then the Mastercard fee. I know that is going to be the new norm but considering that they won’t let you book in without one, seems odd that they would then charge you for it. Plus it’s not advertised. I think they should at least let you know they are now adding the fee. At the end of the day we the consumer always pay and you have to know hotels would be the first but it just feels sad to me. Otherwise this is a great hotel.
