A beautiful historical hotel. My stay was wonderful in so many ways. The conference we attended was well taken care of by the hotel staff. I let them know numerous times ahead of time about my chemical sensitivities and the room was almost completely chemical/scent free. I was delighted. Good food, expert staff, centrally located. Unfortunately they have some kind of signature scent being sprayed out in the lobby so I had to wear multiple masks every time I entered or left the hotel. One of their servers in the bar had on copious amounts of perfume and everyone I was with commented on the headaches they got from it. Other than that it was a fine stay.

Hotel's Favourite
I had booked this hotel for our stay while in Regina on a trip across Canada, and became very concerned about the negative reviews....to the point that I almost changed our reservation. I am so glad I didn't! Marcia welcomed us on check in, and was lovely - friendly and professional. She later provided directions and a couple of bottles of water for our wander around town. We booked a basic king room, and it was lovely - very clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom, while small, had efficient use of space, and was perfectly serviceable. We had dinner in the lounge, and that too was excellent. The food was fresh, hot and delicious, and the service was great. I can't imagine anyone rating this hotel negatively. We also found it very good value, and our rate included parking, which was a bonus. Visit and enjoy!

We opted to stay here when passing through Regina. We took a chance on this hotel because we will sometimes opt for unique properties. Regina is not a big city, so getting to/from the hotel from the transcan was easy and straight forward. The hotel is beautifully renovated and updated but has managed to retain its old charm. Staff were extremely professional, warm and welcoming. Very nice breakfast in the restaurant. The only issue we experienced is that our room smelled like mothballs. Perhaps that is just how historic hotels are, but we would stay here again. Easy walk to Wascana Park for morning exercise. Be aware that there are huge jackrabbits running around the city parks! (they are harmless, but if you aren't expecting it, it is a surprise)

Really enjoyed our visit here! All of the staff were very friendly, the room and public areas of the hotel were very clean, and the location is perfect if you’re wanting to be in the downtown area. Had coffee at the cafe both mornings and the service and coffee were so good. Enjoyed cocktails & and appetizer in the lounge and they were incredible. Highly recommend the smoked old fashioned. We stayed in a suite and the pullout sofa was surprisingly comfortable (most hotel sofa beds are not this good) so that was great. Loved our visit here and look forward to coming again some day!

We stayed in the Royal Suite and the room was fabulous, bed comfortable and no road noise. Located downtown within walking distance to several restaurants and bar. Shopping centre only two blocks away and hotel right across from a park. Staff provided excellent customer service and the Cafe Royal has fantastic Cafe Americano.

We loved the Hotel Saskatchewan! For starters, location is superb. The park across the street is lovely and there are many restaurants within a block or two. We had large room with an excellent bed! Everyone from the maid to the bartender were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the Coffee Bar that serves light breakfasts and lunches.

We stayed a night at this hotel. We slept well and it was quiet. We were expecting a much better experience. We access the lobby from the parking lot entrance. The lobby is beautiful. The room was clean, yet the bathroom is very small, yet functional. The room entry door was askew, leaving a draft coming from under the door. Must be tough during winters. The shower is unpredictable passing from hot to cold water suddenly. The toiletries were fine but adding a shower cap and other items would be great. It was a suite and it was disappointing. The check in was polite and uninterested, we did not feel welcome. The check out was almost similar, a bit more friendly. There is no interest in receiving feedback from customers. Looks like a take it or leave it approach where customers are taken for granted and staff just do not care. The room service offers a limited choice of items; very expensive and food is served in cardboard with disposable utensils. It must be related to COVID-19 sanitary measures? The food was excellent though, we were agreeably surprised and we must give them the credit for the food service. A 6 oz glass of wine costs nearly $26, so a stop at the liquor store before check-in might be a good idea.

The hotel itself is in very nice location which was very helpful to visit downtown, and the Prime Minister’s Suite was an excellent room to stay for two nights. Very spacious, lovely couch, nice beddings. I enjoyed the breakfast also, super pleasant service done by Joy (I’m not sure if this is her name, only assuming since that was the only name on my bill. If not, it was whoever worked on May 24th bf time, had blonde hair in a ponytail and glasses). Please recognize her super hard work because her service was excellent and made not only my day, but it seemed like everyone in the restaurant at that time enjoyed their breakfasts thanks to her. Also, another special thanks to Ms. Ranya and Ms. Elmo during my checkout, I know my booking for some reason made some confusions with the billing, but Ms. Ranya was very calm and professional about it, making the adjustments that I needed, and Ms. Elmo was there to help her out very professionally as well. They made all the difficulties just simple as that in just a few minutes. I’ve worked at a hotel myself and I know how big it is to receive a good comment, but although I’m in the middle of a very long trip and went to many hotels so far, these 3 ladies are the only ones I truly want to show my gratitude for. Thank you again, and thanks to all the other staffs at this hotel I ran into as well.

Gorgeous old architecture. Nice rooms newly renovated. Staff was very thoughtful and helpful. Would stay again. Only thing would be to reopen the more formal dining room. Probably Covid related issue. Great parking, we have a camper trailer to park and it was no issue!
