Detailed Reviews
Check-in efficient, room was as expected for a Super 8. The room isn't huge but it's clean, comfortable, functional, the bed was comfortable, pillows were fine, air-conditioning worked well, wasn't over noisy, bathroom was clean, linen was clean, breakfast acceptable, we used the guest laundry (they have 2 washing machines & 2 dryers and the cost was $2.75 per load & $2.50 per dry. Car parking directly out front, all the food franchises close by, the motel is on a service road and really is in a good location. No complaints from us!

Super clean hotel with super fast internet - stays connected while in use. Cydelle the Front desk agent was very frienldy and accomodating and seem to be very knowledgeable about the area and what the area has to offer. Breakfast was also very good.

Staff were friendly and room was a nice.
Room was clean and furnished nicely.
If you are there for business, the Wifi is public and thus not secure, ended up using my phone as a hot spot.
Breakfast was included, (pre-made/packaged food).
Very view TV channels, reception is not HD.

The Sup[er 8 in Regina, on Victoria, was peaceful and clean. The breakfast was delicious and hot. Staff is friendly and courteous. Parking was good with a special spot for Veterens as well as the usual Hanicap spoots. It is located near several restaurants, directions to some of the family friendly ones would be appreciated..

There are many hotels in Regina & even if you have to pay a bit more for 1, I would highly recommend it for your own piece of mind. I would NOT stay at the Super 8.
We were on the 4rth floor of a newly redone room with a king size bed. At 3:15am I went to get out of bed and the huge picture on the wall above our heads came crashing down on us, it almost covered the whole bed.
We called the front desk & we weren't asked if we were okay or if we wanted another room, all that was said is, we don't have maintenance at this hour; we wanted it documented.
In the morning when we got up we saw a long body & legged black beetle dead on the floor. There was also 1 in the toilet and a live 1 in the tub. There were 4 huge flies buzzing around the window. The bathroom floor was covered in bugs and we went to sit on the couch and another bug crawled across it. We took pictures to document it all.
In speaking to the manager at checkout he wouldn't give us our money back because we prepaid for the room. He offered us a free night the next time we drive 8 hours to Regina. He also said he would give us 1500 Wyndam points and yet was offering 2500 Wyndam points for anyone who stayed there during a Saskatchewan football game.
We don't think that he tried hard enough to make sure we were satisfied. We didn't dare eat breakfast as we were too creeped out by then. If there were that many bugs on the 4rth floor upgraded room we couldn't imagine what the other floors with were like. Creeped out!

We were travelling as parents with a boys basketball team. On our first night there, one of the parents discovered a bed bug in their room which was then confirmed by the front desk. All that was offered was an alternate room without an apology. We couldn’t switch hotels because rooms were prepaid for the team by the school so if parents left, the kids had to stay or pay double. Needless to say I sterilized all our clothes, etc. upon arriving home. I would rate the hotel overall at a 2 star. Room was acceptable but bed covers were getting dingy and cheap tv stand/dresser was all chipped up, etc.

I prepaid the full stay prior to arriving and my assistant confirmed on the Monday for a stay starting on Wednesday. Yet when I arrived they said there was no booking. After much discussion they found me a room and assured me they would sort out the prepayment with the third party through a virtual card. In the meantime they took my personal credit card for incidentals but assured me it wouldn’t be charged. I stayed for a week for a conference and on the last day I noticed a charge on my card. I inquired and they told me it was because I still had belongings in my room past check out time, to which I stated of course as I didn’t check out until the next day. This is when I discovered they were charging the full stay for a second time to my personal credit card. As of now I’ve been charged for the same stay twice in full.
Beyond that, in an entire weeks stay the room was only made up one time. Other than that I never saw housekeeping once, yet they clearly entered my room as they knew my belongings were still in there. I met an older couple from Manitoba and they had similar issues plus several serious concerns with the state of their room that were not being addressed. Unfortunately they didn’t seem tech savvy enough to post a review.
Admittedly my shower curtain was torn beyond repair and should have been replaced and the window curtains were broken but I made both work so those were the least of my concerns.
The manager Ross outright lied to me the day I checked in that he would sort out the prepayment and that nothing would be charged to my personal card. He instead charged the full stay to my card yet again. Beyond that, he or his weekday after staff member that assisted when I checked in didn’t enter my stay correctly which caused further issues and discussion with hotel staff due to it being short one night.
Overall this is a disreputable hotel with seemingly non existent housekeeping and maintenance. I would definitely stay away. This will go down as the worst hotel stay in my life.
Now I just need to get my double charged stay back.

I understand your concern about this situation, however the payment will have to be reimbursed by reservation.com which was the online reservation site your assistant booked through. We tried constantly to reach out to them on your behalf and got no where with them. Therefore as for the "double charge" the hotel acted as per policy being that the reservation was canceled by the third party which the room was booked through.

This was the worst experience ever. They advertise as pet friendly and my husband and I got kicked out because of our two small dogs being there. We got to the hotel around 3pm and hung out in the room until heading for dinner at 7pm. When we got back to the hotel we got told that they weren't aware of our dogs and they cannot be in the room. It was -47 degrees outside and we literally got kicked out in the cold. They cannot say they didn't know as I walked my dogs through the lobby where the employees were. If there were concerns why did we not know about it then? Now after kicking us out we were charged for the full room price. We would have just left and paid nothing.
This hotel ruined our Valentine's day get away and they had zero issues kicking us out. Don't advertise that it's a pet friendly hotel when it isn't. Such crap!!

As per our phone discussion, I clearly explained that the room you booked is not a pet friendly room, though we did have some available. And that if you were honest about having the dogs when you checked in the room type and pricing would have been adjusted accordingly. And since you had already used some of the amenities in the room we could not resell the room as our cleaning staff had already left for the day. Which we had to put the room out of order and ruin an honest guest's Valentines day.

The hotel was a mess on the outside, cracked siding around the pillars and a way past overflowing. When we got to our room, it was small but ok. The bathroom was a mess- fan falling out of the ceiling, light full of dead bugs and the shower head was so full of build-up that it sprayed all over. We had two small kids, so we were a bit annoyed. Our towels were super old and gross, so we needed to change them out for new ones. This would have been a decent hotel at 80 bucks a night. But for $130, probably one of the worst we've stayed at.

Very reasonable price and everything was terrific in room. The staff were very accommodating letting me do an early check in and lending me a phone charger when I realized I had forgotten mine at home. Parking is free of charge and no issue finding a spot. Would definitely stay here again. They even put me on a top floor to avoid me having to listen to two hockey teams also staying in the hotel. The hotel is close to other amenities as well and they offer a free breakfast too. Overall a great experience and fantastic place to stay.

I’m sure if I call the place and speak with the manager you can let them know your issues.
