I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Honestly it is by far my favorite place to stay! Always very accomodating and pleasant to stay there. I have stayed in 4 different rooms there. And have always been pleased with the rooms. Some more than others. The ones on the corners on each level are very nice rooms and have...

Thank you for your kind review! We are constantly working to improve our property and guest experience! New doors and Advanced RFID locks are on agenda on April and all room are now equipped with new Kerig coffee makers! Thanks again for your business and kind review, and we look forward to see you again on your next travels! Chris...

When you first walk in, it's simply beautiful. But the amazement stops there. The only available parking (unless you wanna feed the meter) is around back in a shady alley that fits only about 10 cars. They encourage double parking (taillight to headlight) and ask for your keys in case they need to move your car. I asked if there...

Sorry to hear your stay, If you did stay the full night, wasn't up to your standards. Our parking lot holds 16 cars, and one side is a dbl park side. We do the best we can with what we have and it works (also free parking). Floors creak in a few spots (we are 106 year old building) but...

being an old hotel built in 1908, and having minimal amenities compared to other hotels, I was apprehensive about staying here, but what the hotel lacks in amenities, it makes up for in charm and character. the rooms are small, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, however the buildings elegant architecture is very inviting and interesting and makes up...

Thank you for your review! We are always working on improving our customer experience at the Hotel Senator. Bedding has been upgraded but will look into your comments for sure. Thanks also for the kind words about Winston's in the hotel. Safe travels, and we look forward to seeing you soon! Chris Beavis Owner

Very misleading information during the search portion of the trip. Right from the start, where parking was very, very limited to that of a few stalls in a very, very sketchy alley. I ended up parking in the street where it was a tourist destination for one sketchy local as I found him peering in thru my vehicle window when...

Thank you for your comments, even though they are harsh. I am sorry your stay with us wasn't up to your expectations. there is most definitely character which we loved and especially the dining room...elegant character. We had a Jacuzzi room which had an odd arrangement as we believe it may have been two rooms once upon a time. the sitting room was small but all the furnishings were nice and the bed comfy in the adjoining area. The price was good...

We stayed at The Senator on a weekend trip to Saskatoon in early November. The hotel is on a street with boutique shops, down the street from a mall (and two Starbucks), and walking distance from a number of good restaurants. Winston's, the pub attached to the hotel, is worth a visit too. The hotel's prices were reasonable compared to...

Thank you for your kind words and review. We pride ourselves on the historic character of the Hotel Senator. We try and keep that character while renovating and moving the property forward for guest comfort. Since you stay, we have found the issue we were having with the hot water inconsistency and have rectified it. My apologies for that. Safe...

Enjoyed the early 20th room decorations. Very warm and inviting. Service was prompt and friendly. Had Eggs Benedict----very good. Fabulous breakfast potatoes. The room was sunny. You can tell there has been lots of history in this building. I found my breakfast experience exceptional.

My husband and I always stay here while in Saskatoon. It's a venerable old building with charm and character, but it is not perfect. However, we prefer it to any modern hotel. The front desk staff have always been helpful, the dining room and Winston's are great, but parking is an issue. The front rooms (love Room 110) are noisy...

Well, I have been back to the Senator a few times since my last review . This is "My Hotel" in Saskatoon. Sure there are lots fancier, pricier, bigger, more expensive, newer and flashier but you will not find one with more charm. More renovations have been done, the suites are well appointed and now they have interactive program guide...

I have stayed here before! I like the feel of moving back to the early part of the century, however I knew about the parking before hand and parked there before asking. Always try and ask for a double bed room they are huge compared to the single bed rooms. This is a gem in the middle of the city...
