I chose this Inn for it's convenient location off Highway 1 and the praise of most other visitors. .As I was booking I noted that it was pricier than most, and unlike the other places I visited it did not offer an off season price. The Inn is located in a quiet and pretty lot beside a pond. There is...

Located along Freshwater Bay off Route 320, the Freshwater Inn consists of a series of 3 cabins, beside a main building that houses an upper level room and Cafe. I arrived and was entertained by the staff and shown a menu for the Cafe as I waited for the owner to arrive--she lives off site, but is easily accessible. The...

We wanted a break traveling back to St John's from Deer Lake and selected this Inn. At the very edge if town we arrived only to find that the owners were not on sight. The chef called the owner and within minutes we were greeted and shown to our room. A very spacious room well fashion with comfortable furniture. The...

Freshwater Inn was recommended to us by a close friend. We needed a table to seat 6 people and the staff did everything they could to make sure that we could find with them. We didn't need to wait. A table was located for us with sea views. A good menu and a good children's menu. Everything was cooked fresh...

We were four women bicycling in Newfoundland for 3 weeks so our needs were different from most folks. We arrived here after a 50+ mile day and were so happy to discover what a lovely place this was! The setting was divine on the banks of the rock strewn Gambo River. The rooms were large, clean and furnished beautifully! The...

This was our first choice for a BnB in NL and it was great. The location is perfect, the room was very comfortable and the kitchen has its own chef. But you have to stay for the breakfast: stuffed French toast with cream cheese and partridge berry jam covered with hot syrup! So delicious. The homemade granola and fruit was...

We traveled from one end of Newfoundland to the other and back again, staying at different places all the time. We spent 3 weeks doing this. This was the best find ever and the best food in all of Newfoundland. You're very lucky if you get to stay here and don't pass up going to dinner here, as well. Wonderful...

We booked this Inn on line as it was a convenient stopping place on our trip. Following their directions we found the sign at the highway at a dirt road. We followed the road, there it was, well out of sight of the highway on the water. Turned out to be a gem. We were there for one night only...
