The welcome was nice and free wifi was provide, the location near the tube station and river front was great. I'm not someone to leave bad reviews but this hotel was a big disappointment and definitely not value for money. Booked via lastminute.com secret hotel and was expecting 5*. Our room was very tired and distressed. No bedside lights that...

The Grange has all the potential for a really great country house hotel, great location, character and ambiance in abundance. Unfortunately, it needs attention in a number of areas. A shower with impossible to balance hot and cold water combined with heating being turned off before 10pm on a really cold night are its worst crimes. The food was good,...

We booked on Bookings.com and got £40.00 off the room rate only paying £89.00 for a standard double room. The room was absolutely fine, clean and tidy, fresh clean linen and plenty of storage space which was handy as we had brought Xmas presents. Once settled we had a quick explore (see pics) then ordered dinner for 7.00pm. Tricia had...

We booked this hotel to visit friends as it was local and reasonably priced. However, our room was small but clean and comfortable and had the usual drinks fa ilities, tv, wifi. The shower room was tiny but adequate. The worse thing was the bed. One side pushed up to wall and was a small double. This was clearly a...

Stayed here on business - eventually arrived after satnav took me on a tourist route through Suffolk in the dark, in fog and during rush hour from the A11. Friendly welcome, quick beer in the bar to relax and fish and chips off the restaurant menu. Food was very good and although I do not normally have bar fish in...

Booked hotel for overnight stay, the hotel was a little further out of BSE than we expected its located off the beaten track within its own grounds. Our room was large and overlooked the garden area, it was well furnished, clean and warm. Evening menu at the hotel was good, the menu varied and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful...

I stay here on a regular basis when coming down to head office in BSE - the hotel is nice - it's in its own grounds - smugly off the beaten track but 15 mins from BSE - grub is good - plenty of choice for breakfast - staff are really nice - only draw back is water pressure on...

I regularly use this hotel when I work away from home. I have seen previous reviews which are damming, but although this hotel is not always 100%, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious and never fail to accommodate my gluten free dietary requirements. The rooms may need a little tlc but are clean and in general The Grange...

Ignore the reviews that are derogatory to the hotel! We read them after we booked and were tempted to cancel because of them but went ahead. We had room 1, a suite, and it was a large room, well furnished, extremely clean, well laid out. It had a sofa and a chair, huge TV, desk, dressing table and a massive...
