The hotel is beautiful, the staff is simply charming and kind- Gives an answer to everything you need. The food is delicious, however the breakfast is terribly clumsy. You have to ask a lot of things from the waiters and it takes time until everything arrives .. this is the only thing that disappoint us on the vacation. Beyond that everything was great

I paramveer bhatia, We are staying at Villa 134, A water villa since last 2 Nhts, first of all quality of food is not of Marriot standard and quite bad. Yesterday being a honeymoon couple we booked a floating breakfast for 11 Am for today at about 10. Pm, and same was confirmed by hotel F&B manager To our surprise after 2 hrs in the midnight we got a call from reception that you have to check out at 10 am, we’re as we were confirmed 11 am for breakfast This morning hotel started calling us since 8 am for check out, and their manager mr Abraham is not ready to listen to any of our requests And literally harassing us for chekc out We came here after hearing a lot about Westin a Marriot brand about service level and hospitality To our great surprise we found nothing of this here Very very disappointed If any of the higher authorities from hotel if they are looking on this reveiw pls help us and sort this out

Dear Nalineshs1, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We are very sorry to hear that your stay with us did not meet the level of expectation that we strive to achieve for each one of our guests. It is certainly not the level of service that we would usually provide. We take the feedback of our guests seriously and we value each point made to ensure that we maintain the level of extraordinary service that is expected from a Westin Hotel. If you do come back to the Maldives, please do not hesitate to reach out and we would be delighted to welcome you back and ensure an entirely more positive experience. The Westin Maldives Management.

We would like to thank Westin for the wonderful vacation we had in their resort, the staff was amazing, flexible, great in customer service, which is an absolute need in covid situation, the first we faced was before even landing. First, there was miscommunications via emails, and they cancelled our reservation, and two weeks later we contacted for specific arrangements, we were surprised that our reservation was cancelled, not they bring it to us the same value, but they upgraded us too. Later on, we missed our flight and we contact them to ask them to shift our reservation one day, that was the same day we supposed to arrive! And they welcomed that and also rescheduled our seaplane flight with no extra charges. And once we got their with a really long flight they took us directly to our villa, though we were early for chick in and we forgot to ask for that, but I guess they didn’t. Hamin, Yousef, Sally, Sugar, Yaz, the two ladies in the kids club, the one click studio guy who took our photoshoot, and the other staff that we met and we didn’t got their names, you gave us a wonderful memory. We are more than happy that we choose the Westin Maldives. On the other-side, though the previous made us not even thinking of those little things, but for a fare review I need to list, the resort is a little bit small, great for couples or small families, its quite with no much activities. Also, like all our Maldives experience, food is a lack, the restaurants are limited for non Asian food lovers, there is a bar, and two asian restaurants and one international, and the last one is a little poor compared to Westin chain. The other thing is the beach, its not really sandy, it has big rocks, some villas have not sandy beach at all only big rocks, so make sure if its important to you to ask for sandy beach. As I listed for who need a quite vacation they could book westin without thinking of the risks, cuz the management is wonderful and they will do whatever they can to help. We thank you all for such a vacation.

My wife and I spent six nights here in October 2021 and had a lovely time. We were grateful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a fantastic overwater pool villa (room 103) on account of my Platinum Elite status and low occupancy during our visit. Note that this villa does face the north and therefore gets a bit of seaplane and boat traffic, but otherwise feels very private. Although we visited toward the tail end of the rainy season, it was only stormy for the first day or so, and was mostly sunny with a mix of clouds and showers for the remainder of our stay. Highlights of our stay included breakfast each morning at Island Kitchen, snorkeling around the island (although the reef is rather bleached, it was still teeming with sea life) as well as on the manta ray snorkel excursion (saw about a dozen or so!), taking a discover SCUBA course, happy hour at Sunset Bar (selection of $8 cocktails each evening from 6-7pm), special Indian and Middle Eastern meals prepared by Chef Gaurav, Japanese breakfast prepared by Chef Ed, the Vietnamese promotional dinner at Hawker, and simply lounging around and reading on our villa deck and at the pool. Thank you to all of the staff for taking such good care of us: Hanim, our assigned front-office representative who graciously handled several last-minute travel plan changes for us and kindly checked in on us throughout our stay; all of the waitstaff and bartenders, including Uliana, Kezia, Yaz, John, Ramesh, Shugar, Jay, Farih, Naufal, Raj, Shifau, and everyone else I forgot to mention; Llewelyn and his crew at the dive center; chefs Gaurav, Ed, and the fellow working at Hawker (forgot to write down your name!); Mahu, who met us upon the arrival of our return seaplane flight to Male Airport and made sure we had access to the lounge despite it being full; all of the housekeepers who tided our room and refilled our water bottles twice a day; and all of the groundskeepers who worked exceptionally hard to keep the property looking great.

As 5* Resorts go - The Westin ticks the usual boxes - beautiful rooms and facilities, quality bar and restaurants, lovely views and beach. However, the Staff and incredible Service is what sets them apart - exceptional service, courteous, and went the extra mile to make the whole trip stress free. Big THANK YOU TO *MAHU*- who met us at the airport during our Departure from Male - he was exceptionally helpful, guided us through the hectic departures process at the airport, and ensured we got on our flight on time! Very grateful - THANK YOU MAHU!
