After a long trip from Cagayan, we've decided to stay in the nearest place we could find. The staff are accommodating except they're lack of communication. The place is great. Very relaxing due to the breeze from the beach. For Globe subscribers, you can't post pictures easily due to poor signal. You have to go near the shore just to...

Stayed there for a couple of days during a seminar-workshop. The place itself is okay. But it would be better if they actually have people trained even on basic hospitality services. Majority of the ones manning the hotel are totally clueless. We also had the misfortune on being on a room wherein the bathroom faucet reeks of a deathly stench....

When we arrived no personnel assisted us. As if they dont know that they have 100 guest arriving in their resort. The water in the faucet has black particles cannot be used for toothbrush, washing of face etc. The food is bland and our other personnel wasn't able to eat breakfast. The swimming pool is big but needs to be...

A 42-minutes drive from Butuan City or 3 hrs. and 30 minutes away if you travel from Cagayan de Oro City to Amontay Beach Resort. The resort has very little to offer considering the distance and time you spend travelling. At the main resort gate, you will be greeted by a guard and will require you to pay 50 pesos...

Plenty of rooms and meeting space. Black sand beach with great ocean view. Plenty to eat and drink and they have a big pool too. Lots of construction ongoing right now. Entrance road is a little bumpy.

We headed out to the Amontay Beach Resort for an afternoon of relaxation, and were disappointed. You're greeted with minimal fees for everything, repeatedly. Half of the food menu (perhaps more) wasn't available. Most of the drinks weren't available. The pool looked like it had just been cleaned weeks before... Ants at the tables... Worst was the toilet. When you...

We travelled for 2 hours & upon arrival, it seems we want to go back home or find other beach nearby. The trouble of expectation to reality. We didn't feel welcome, the staff seems don' t know the word "customer service", need training, orientation. I suggest, there should be manager or supervisor roaming around to check the staff and facilities...

We spent 1 week in this resort last Aug 22- 28, 2016. The resort offers a lot of amenities for its costumers depends on your preference. There is a swimming pool for all ages, beach activities ( I really enjoyed the aqua cycle and kayak), swimming in the sea ( though it's a black sand, the water is clear and...

ABR is the place for family bonding. With wide array of amenities to offer, children swimming pool is a wow for children and for the adults too. Beach area is a plus factor while relaxing in the cabanas, fresh air and the waves makes you feel tranquil. A place worth to visit and stay.!!

They charge too much but the maintenance is so poor. The comfort room is so smelly you will regret going inside. The faucet is not working and there is no water. The pool is not clean. There were so many insects and falling leaves. The beach area is visibly dirty too. There were so many plastics, garbage on the shore....
