We stayed 3 nights in this hotel on the basis of previous ratings. The room was excellent and the location good. However, the breakfast was poor. The waitress was miserable and the breakfast food seemed to be offered on an "economy" basis. However, the owner was very pleasant and helpful and the dinners we had on 2 nights were both...

We see from the review that you allegedly stayed at the hotel 5 months ago, but there is no record of any booking for 3 nights, in the 1st floor corner room you mention, in October 2016. Indeed the only 3 night bookings in this room since September 2016 have not lived in Cheam which appears to be your address....

We had four days of utter bliss here - beautiful quiet rooms and luxurious beds - lots of attention to detail - superb breakfasts. Dorothy and her staff couldn't have been more welcoming - and always found time to give us useful advice on local walks and activities.

Very welcoming arrival , very clean and comfortable room , very good breakfast but the highlights were the evening meals which were wonderful , enough selection not to get confused but when the food arrived it was exceptional . You have to try this place !!!

What a fantastic experience. Dorothy went out of her way to help and make our visit really very comfortable. Being a new crutch and wheelchair user after major surgery it is so heartening to find a hotel which accommodates my new needs and takes it all in their stride. Breakfast was superb and set us up perfectly for a days...

Super beds and quiet position so good sleep quality! A lovely time to visit Lyme Regis. All very festive and Swallows Eves hotel made a good base. Plenty of public space with bar and lounge. The on site restaurant was very welcome and food was excellent. A little lacking in atmosphere as only one other couple dining but I'm sure...

We stayed here as a base for day trips out, just for a few days. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and the rooms had everything and were very comfortable. The pub down the road does very decent pub grub and Lyme & Seaton are only a short drive away.
