Just back from a few days in this wonderful quintessentially englush country house hotel. As allways everything was near perfect from the moment we arrived throughout our stay. The staff provide a warm welcome and a level of friendly but efficient service many hotels strive to achieve. The food is excellent fron breakfast afternnon tea and a wonderful dinner using...

Once we got here we felt like we never wanted to leave. The grounds are totally amazing - acres of beautiful plants and trees with countless little paths winding between them leading to unexpected bridges, ponds, waterfalls and of course the beautiful River Tamar that runs along in front of the hotel. We felt like children exploring an enchanted forest....

The Gardens are stunning and well worth a visit. Hotel, not what we expected, rather disappointing. The whole place seems to needs some TLC, I appreciate it is an old building but there is no excuse for the lack of 'attention to detail'. Example, staff uniforms. Dirty and not ironed. Parasols, closed on a sunny day. Tables not cleared at...

This trip was not an overnight, although I have stayed at the Endsleigh many times. Just a sunday lunch, wonderful food and service. Superb cocktails. Lovely spot to read the papers and walk the dog. I adore the peace and tranquility of the Endsleigh. The Interior is perfect. The exterior is divine, with a grotto, garden walks, and a fabulous...

You approach the house down a long drive, at this time of year the rhododendrons are gorgeous. A lovely dark oak entrance hall always with a magnificent flowers display. Good discreet professional staff, an unique interior, very slightly shabby, but this only enhances the ambiance. There is nothing here out of the 'country house hotel catalogue'

Our first visit to hotel endsleigh with family for afternoon tea. A beautiful setting and traditional building with stunning gardens. We were sat at our table, which needed adjusting as there was not enough table space. Minor glitch. Tea was served with sandwiches and canapés. All very nice, then self service cakes from the library. Enjoyable afternoon had by all.

A very special country house hotel set in some of the most beautiful and extensive grounds you would find. Rather than feeling like your staying in a hotel you feel like you are a house guest in a country house. The service is faultless the bedrooms furnished to be both comfortable and to look great. The food is perfect ....

Tucked away within acres of stunning landscaped grounds, the Endsleigh is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing break in the country. You really can't go there without spending some time exploring the grounds. We had visited Heligan gardens in the morning and we thought Endsleigh's gardens topped what we'd seen there. The staff were very welcoming and friendly,...

Staying locally, we tried here for lunch on the recommendation from friends. The long drive ends in a rather austere country house with a very dark entrance hall. The dining room is just off this hall to the left. The toilet facilities were a little antiquated and the dining room was in need of some repainting- peeling paint on the...
