A unique gorgeous 18 century cottage located in the exceptional beauty of the Devon countryside. Fabulous views and wonderful walks. Flora and fauna in abundance. If you want a few days of peace in a perfect setting this is the place for you.

This is such a tranquil place to stay. The cottage is outstanding & the views are breathtaking. You feel like you are amongst the treetops. The sounds of the pheasants, the flow of the river, the whole ambience is mesmerising .We visited for four nights in January 2015 & can not wait to visit in the future.

Swiss Cottage was where I spent the loveliest and most relaxing four days of my entire life. It's effects stayed with me for weeks afterwards. Words cannot describe it's breathtaking beauty. I could not do it justice. You must go for yourself. It blows your mind.

Another wonderful Landmark Trust property. The cottage itself (designed in an alpine style) is beautiful and the views from its balconies across the river Tamar are simply mesmerising. The cottage is nestled on the side of a hill and is fairly secluded, but only 2 minutes from a good restaurant at the Hotel Endsleigh and about 10 minutes from Tavistock....
