After spending time at another place we were so glad to spend our last 3 days here. Food is fantastic, the chef should be on Masterchef. Manager Fiona, nothing too much trouble. Fantastic vibe. While it is a fair way from Kingscote, you're only a hop step and jump from Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, and helicopter ride. Can't complain about...

We checked in on Friday June 21 for 3 days and checked the restaurant menu for meals and were not told by reception which meals were not available that night.. We decided on what we wanted. We arrived at the restaurant only to find what we wanted wasn't available. Luckily they had fish as a special and not even a...

Living in Adelaide for 3years and having regular visits from friends and family from overseas,ki is a classic destination, and so was kiwr. What a disappointment on this 4th visit in June 2013!! The room was a bit dated as always, but the bathroom door couldn't even close properly, the shower was mouldy and the whole 150dollars room had quite a mouldy...

The resort was exactly like photos on Trip Advisor. I was prepared for rustic accomodations, but not for less-than-standard service. There was a pitcher of water in the refrigerator, left by previous occupants. During our 3 nights stay in May, 2013, neither our dirty coffee mugs nor water glasses were exchanged for clean. It was nightfall when we returned about...

Arrived at 4:00pm to be greated by a pleasant receptionist, checked in and proceded to our room which was spacious and quiet. Furniture may been a little dated so what! it added to the ambience, it was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfasts were adequate, cooked breakies were available if needed. The dinner meals we had on both nights we were...

We spent two nights at the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Resort. The location is both a positive and a negative - it's right by the entrance to Flinders Chase and not far from Seal Bay or the caves. It is a fair (1-2 hour drive) from either Kingscote or the ferry. And there is nothing else nearby so finding food is...

O.K, O.K, some comments made elsewhere for this accommodation have some valid points,,,however, in defence and for the record, here, in my opinion is what you will find should you choose to stay here. A wonderful location for exploring the South West and the beautiful Flinders Chase National park, in fact unless you are camping this IS the closest place...

$30 for a little veggie stack! We'd been out all day walking, we were starving and really wanted some good harty food, which you will not get here. there's no where else to eat within a 45minute drive and they well and truly take advantage of this. Room was ok, bit dated but clean. Location was very good, especially for...

Oh dear, this hotel was quite disappointing. The room was one of the most basic I had ever seen, the furniture was old and needed maintenance. It was not properly clean either. To top it off its overpriced due to location. Not enough illumination either. What a ripoff! And the talk about nature and eco is a lousy excuse, I've...

We stayed in this location in a courtyard room in order to be close to Flinders Chase, and also because we could have dinner on site without driving at night, which is prohibited for rental cars. The location is excellent for exploring the park, and within a 5 minute drive, you can take the Hanson Bay koala walk, which is...
