Finnaly, I managed to locate this place on TA to give a review. I was passing through the area and in need to a stop over. I was directed to this place by a "local" as all the hotels I phoned were booked up. In fairness to the person they informed me about the set up and that it was...

we stayed in this hotel/castle for 1 night with a Groupon deal. we had a very large room with a double bed and a nice ig bathroom with a large bath. Although we did not plan to have diner here the man at the reception suggested a 3 course diner for only 17 eur. We tried this and it was...

Nice large rooms with large double beds, very clean, normal European breakfast with fresh bread everyday. I have stayed in Belgium a number of times and this is the best that i can say. Catherine is always happy to help but I don't know if she speaks English.

ok I suppose we should've checked but finding out when we got there that it was right on the doorstep of a nuclear power plant was a bit of a shock. there is nothing chateau-esque about this chateau. it is incredibly shabby, very little works and the place is simply falling apart. the staff seem to be doubt their best...

Large clean room, plenty of space, very comfortable indeed, friendly service and a very nice restaurant. Excellent wifi connection. I have no complaints other than all maps put this hotel in the wrong location, it's 1km further down the road through the round about.

Looking at and reading the website, you would expect a high-class and wonderful Chateau experience with the joys of a Gastronomic Restaurant in the heart of the Belgian countryside. The reality is a staff-less (even before 8pm) cold, run-down building on a main road overshadowed by the cooling towers of a nuclear power plant. The building is in very poor...

This place is a massively overpriced run down chateau that I would recommend to avoid. It has a view of a distasteful chimneys of a factory, the gardens and entry gate to the chateau are so run down that it is a disgrace for that place. The main door is fitted with a horrible locker completely undeserved feature to this...

Dirty rooms, very unfriendly service, the expensive breakfast (14euro!!) was placed in the fridge one day before, cheap stuff under plastic foil. We took it for one day and they took all away in the afternoon what we wanted to save and when we asked for it they were very unfriendly. Opposite of the hotel is the Tihange nuclear plant.

We stayed in this place for two days. It looks nice from the outside, however, in the very close vicinity there is a powerplant which is of course not seen on the pictures as well as lots of electrical wires. The people in the hotel are very unfriendly and impolite and do not speak English. The room had an unpleasent...
