We have just spent another eight days at the wonderful Sani Dunes. It really is a magical place! From the restaurants to the beaches everything is simply perfect. There are many people to thank but a special mention must go out to Nikos, and George who expertly look after the restaurants and the running of the Dunes. , Demetris and Damian who manage the pool bar. Pannagiotis who is simply the best guest services manager ever! , Klinsmann who takes meticulous care of everything to do with the Beach, Vanggelis who looks after the wonderful Beach House. Not forgetting the commander and chief Sakis who makes sure everyone and everything is running smoothly. Also, if you get the chance you must have dinner at the Bousoulas bar and watch the sunset whilst sitting back and enjoying the relaxing music played by DJ Steve….epic! See you next year!

We visited in May and stayed at Sani Dunes which is a beautiful hotel. This was our first time having previously stayed at Ikos Aria last year. The whole Sani resort is lovely and lots of restaurants to choose from. We did think the prices of drink and food was expensive. Think the supplement should be more than it was per person. The only feedback I would give is that there was a lot of young kids. When you are sitting down for dinner or in one of the bars , sometimes felt we were in a playground. Beach and pools were excellent. All the rooms have almost direct access to the 2 pools.

We returned to Sani Dunes after staying here a few years back (and covid kept us away). While it is a beautiful resort with incredible staff, we were disappointed by 2 things - firstly food & drink prices ensure a hefty bill on check out, and secondly the fact young children are allowed here. The ‘grown up environment’ Sani advertises is disappearing - we just don’t want to sit down to eat amongst squashed strawberries and noisy kids every day.

This was our 9th visit to Sani Dunes since it opened in 2017 and it just continues to excel. We consider this our second home. The hotel it's landscaped gardens and two swimming pools are beautiful and you could not wish to be in a nicer location. However, it is the staff at the hotel who make our stay so exceptional. Starting from the management with Sakis & Nikos who run a wonderful hotel and team. Every year, we return and the majority of staff are still at the hotel and many of them are in newly promoted positions. We are always welcomed by Nikos & Andreea and who are ably supported by Panagiotis, head of guest relations. Our morning breakfast is taken at the Market and are again welcomed with smiles from Menia, George, Pangiota, Vasia & Maria as well as with the enthusiastic team of Vyron, Georgios and George who take care of our every need. A great way to start the day. Our room is wonderfully designed with the private garden and is always kept immaculate by two lovely ladies, Alma & Silvana. The room is cleaned twice a day. The main heated swimming pool is one of the largest in Greece and there is always a lounge bed available. The Pool bar team are amazing and are led by the outstanding Dimitris. Elena and Suada take care of us with wonderful service. Mention should also be made of Dammian & Manos, the bartenders. The beach is always immaculate and Klinsman does a wonderful job. After a hard day at the pool, it is off to the lobby bar before dinner where the lovely Elena makes exceptional cocktails and is ably supported by Katherine and also Sona who takes good care of you. All in all a truly wonderful group of people who make our holiday so special and we very much look forward to seeing them all next year.

We have coming to Sani for many years having previously stayed at Sani Club and Porto Sani with our young daughter. More recently though our hotel of choice has been here at Sani Dunes as she is bit older and we don’t need the facilities they have at the other hotels for babies and young children. What makes it amazing here for us (as with all the Sani hotels in our experience) is the staff! Led by an amazing team (Sakis, Nikos and Andrea) the level of service here is exceptional and they do everything in their power to make sure you have the best experience/holiday. Nothing is ever too much trouble and any issues (if there are any) are resolved instantly! The location of Dunes for us is perfect. It’s low rise and right beside a large white sandy beach which gives us both beach and pool options which we like. The sun beds are really spaced out everywhere too so you’re not squashed in like sardines as with a lot of hotels! Also of excellent quality is the food, standard of accommodation and the extensive range of activities, there is absolutely something for everyone across the resort! We did the Bear Grylls Survival Course on this trip which was great fun and I’d highly recommend it! George who runs it is excellent! The high ropes course is excellent too! There’s so much more to say about it here, I could go on but there’s too much for the limited words on here! This is our 13th visit in 8 years and we absolutely love it here, it’s a place where you can be as chilled or as busy as you want. People ask why we keep coming back and it’s because of all the above! Whenever we’ve been somewhere else all we keep saying is ‘it just isn’t Sani!’ Get booked you will love it!

We have recently returned from another fantastic holiday at Sani Dunes . We have been several times and each holiday is sheer delight . If you're thinking of going you won't be disappointed . There is something for everyone , young and old . So many different restaurants to go to and so many diverse activities to partake in . Sani resort is so clean and safe . We would like to say a special thanks to Mr Sakis and Mr Nikos , two of the nicest people you could meet . Also Andreea and all the superb staff at the reception . Roberto , who is more than just the pool guy , he is a terrific ambassador for Sani . We had fabulous meals at The Market , Fresco , El Puerto , with the great new manager , Nikos . Also Olia , Lima and not forgetting the fantastic Macaroni , with the charming Eleni and Voula . Looking forward to seeing you again later in the summer .

Just a superb experience , something for everyone. Down to the fine details , such as Yiannis and Christos at the bike hire looking after my daughter to get a scooter and helmet reserved for the whole week. Nothing is too much trouble here at Sani

Yet again Sani Dunes gave us a magical family holiday. It is my sixth visit and my family's fifth (children, partners and grandchildren aged 4, 2 and 12 weeks). Each year we think it can't get any better but somehow it does. I won't repeat all the wonderful positives from my previous reviews but just to say that everything else is underpinned by the putstanding professional and friendly service offered by the whole team at Dunes led by Sakis, Nikos and Andreea. So what's new this year that made the holiday even more special? The menu at The Market ( the main restaurant at Dunes) has got some new Asian influences and I loved the umami of the broths with the fish dishes as well as the unexpectedly outstanding pork steak. My (adult) kids were delighted that the seafood pasta is still on the menu but mourned the loss of the duck samosas ( you can't win them all!). The new set menu is an excellent addition to the 'dine around' options Sani offers across the resort and the restauarant was pretty busy, but Eleni managed to find us great tables everytime we dined there. Upstairs at Fresco we sampled a new outstanding risotto funghi, which now ties with the duck pappadelle as my favourite dish and a delightful prawn carpaccio. I think Fresco may be my absolute favourite of the 16 restaurants I have tried at Sani over the years. (I think there are 27 in total, so a few more to try yet.) We also enjoyed the new Elia ( which offers a set menu) and Lima restaurants, both great additions to Sani restaurants, although deep pockets are needed to get the most from Lima. For the special sunset meal, Cabana is still a favourite and this year we had outstanding service from Konstantina. This year we did some walks with the knowledgeable resident ecologist: the olive trip ( with a lovely free bottle of olive oil at the end) , the bee spot and the wetlands walk. Not only were these fun and interesting they also developed our knowledge of Green Sani as the resort moves to achieve its impressive sustainability goals. My grandchildren loved the kids' club, the creche and the new bungee tampolining offering as well as spending lots of time in the heated pools and at the beach where the towels, drinks and snacks were served seamlessly. Again nothing was too much trouble; for example the Disney inspired theatre show was cancelled due to rain and my 4 year granddaughter was 'super sad' as she told Maria at Reception. Maria immediately rescued the evening by taking her over to the pc and allowing her to choose and print pictures to colour and then providing some crayons and the tears dried up quickly. I am still in awe of how such a large organisation ( 5 hotels, 27 restaurants , all the leisure facilites and a marina) manages to keep the environment looking so beautiful: no litter, never a dirty item of soft furnishing, no weeds in the flowerbeds , totally clean swimming pools and a tractor that levels the bumps in the sand on the beach every morning. In The Market at breakfast Despina discreetly cleans up under my grandchildren almost before we've noticed they have dropped something. By the way, the buffet breakfact is outstanding and offers extras to order like french toast and Greek eggs. This year we loved the addition of shakshuka to the hot buffet; just when you though it couldn't be improved from last year, there it was...something new and even better. It's also worth enjoying a breakfast at Beach House as you really are right on the beach so it has a different vibe. The rooms at Dunes are luxuriously functional from Nespresso machines to excellent blackout cutains to the impressive showers and Anne Semonin products but they also manage to be calming and oh so peaceful. My daughter with the 12 week old had emailed ahead for a variety of baby items and they were all there in the room when she checked in with no fuss, just super efficent. I love the gardens and this year we picked mint leaves to make mint tea in the room and quinces from trees to nibble on; in autumn we've had pomegranates straight from the tree before. Sani remains my ultimate happy place; a perfect venue for me to holiday with my family and on my own. Thank you so much to all the team at Sani Dunes and the wider resort for everything you do to create and sustain the Sani magic. See you next year.
