We stayed here for two weeks and loved the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and we could see the sea which weren't expecting. It's great to have a full size fridge in the room and a decent TV. The pool area was nice and although we never stayed around there, we noticed that

This hotel is family run and eager to please. The rooms are very pleasant and bright with modern bathrooms and are well maintained. The breakfasts are excellent. The only word of caution I would have is to make sure that you are not overlooking the busy road. I booked with TU

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff located not too far from a number of bars & restaurants and near the bus stop for Chania (get tickets from the supermarket next door as they are cheaper than on the bus). Breakfast served from 07.30 in the big airy breakfast room has frie

There was some confusion when we checked in as despite a few emails assuring us of a first floor room we were shown to a ground floor room. After some conferring we were shown to the room above but we quickly realised the room was not acceptable as very 60's/ much hotter and the

Dear Mrs Anni S, First, we wish to thank you for choosing our hotel for your holidays and also for your time to review us. Although we have not figured out if eventually you are satisfied with our facilities & services, we ought to quote our side with what really happened during your stay with us. With regard to your reservation there was no confusion, you had booked a double & quiet room with a double bed & a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Upon your arrival we gave you a junior suite on the raised ground floor, very quiet with a king size bed & a balcony overlooking the pool, without to charge you more for upgrading, after seeing the location of that room you did not want to stay. You asked to go on the top floor, immediately our receptionist gave you the same junior suite on the top floor, you stayed in this room & used it for a while and then you told us that you wanted to go back to the first room because you saw a glass ring mark on the top of the refrigerator, this was because a customer put his drink there, the girl tried to get it out but you saw that this can not be removed. After all you returned to the junior suite that you saw first and eventually stayed there because you found the location perfect & the room very nice and spacious with nice pool view. We are delighted that you liked this room and was completely acceptable to you, although we do not understand how this happened, an hour ago the same room was not acceptable. With regard to the cleanliness, we ask you to read our guests' comments who with or without glasses, (we are sure you understand our reference to the glasses) found our cleanness brilliant and some say that our housekeeping service is first class. Also, we are wondering why you say that the pool towels appeared magically on the third day, since we gave them to you as soon as you asked for them. Regarding our breakfast, we are happy to hear from you that the quality, variety and quantity of our buffet breakfast met your expectations. The fact that you did not like the behavior of our guests when they are in the breakfast room, of course there is NO ANSWER, we have no liability whatsoever and we never make any comments for any one. In any case, we take your remarks into consideration and hope to see you again on your next trip to Chania. With our kind regards. Yakinthos hotel Chania.

I’ve just noticed that the reviews are mentioning that you pay for Air Con, this can’t be true. Really?
If you ask for a kettle will they still provide one
Bit of a daft question ,,,but do the rooms have an iron .
No iron but the owners are super friendly and helpful and I’m sure they would be happy to help. I have literally never ironed anything on holiday.
