We really enjoyed our restful fortnight at the Yakinthos during October. Although we've traveled to Crete before, this was our first trip to the West of the island and we hope it won't be our last. The hotel is conveniently located for local restaurants, a beach little more than a stonesthrow a way, a bus stop immediately outside and numerous...

Clean, friendly hotel. Welcome drink on arrival which was much appreciated. Our bedroom was at the back, temperatures in our room was comfortable. The breakfast catered for all nationalities from continental to full English. The plates were always being topped up. Artimes went to the trouble of locating gluten free bread for us, not many would go to that trouble....

We went for a week and loved it the staff are really friendly the breakfast is great to nice variety. The rooms are basic but what more do you need, they are spotlessly clean they are quiet, you have a safe, hairdryer plenty of storage and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of shops and resturants within walking distance and a...

We stayed at the Hotel during the first week of October. We stayed in one of the ground floor rooms at the back near the pool, both quiet and shady a welcome relief. The room was large with 3 beds, 1 single and 2 singles pushed together to make a extra large double. In the room there was plenty of storage,a...

Set a short stroll away from the beach and on a frequent bus route to Chania, this was the perfect small hotel for us. It is in well designed, clean bright and attractive modern buildings with a large lobby/bar area and a good sized swimming pool. There is a fridge in each room and a kettle on request [great for the...

A smaller hotel offering value for money, rooms simple, clean and nice, excellent bathrooms with toiletries. Small pool area which was disappointing as not too many sun beds around it but it is a very short walk to the wonderful beach !!! Breakfast is good with hot and cold choices . Staff all friendly. A good hotel for a short...

You never know when you book a hotel if it will suit you, but this one is a very good small hotel and deserves all the praise it gets. The management and staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful at every opportunity. They helped us organise a trip to Samaria gorge (the bus stopped right outside...

This neat hotel is located in an excellent location 100 meters from the sandy clear watered beach. There are nice restaurants very close and the Hotel pool was always a good place to start the day. We had a double room with a balcony and even though we brought quite a lot of sand with us from the beach, they...

Hotel lived up to the reviews. It's simple but does what it provides extremely well. I paid extra for room 211 which overlooked the swimming pool and was a suntrap until after midday, spacious balcony. Bathroom with shower not exceptional but like the rest of the hotel, this too was exceptionally clean. Maid service every day, with fresh towels. From...
