This place is beautiful and very clean. Les is a great chef. Blanca is by far one of the most caring person that I have ever met. They are chill and that's what makes this place a treasure. You want peace, beautiful beaches and tranquility,...More

Thank you for taking the time to write! We love what we do!

Another great stay with Blanca, Les and Rex the Wonder Dog. This is a wonderful B&B in the middle of the Baja peninsula. But you have to WANT to go here. It is 60 miles of paved road to Abrejos, then another 10 miles of...More

Thanks so much! We really are out of the way and we are honored that you make us part of your itinerary! Come back soon.

We stumbled on this place totally by accident. We didn't see much of interest in Abrejos, the town 10 miles to the south, and so headed north. La Bocana is the first village to the north. There is not much going on in La Bocana,...More

Thanks for your kind words and we agree - there is nothing to do here but relax and enjoy the views, the ocean and the fishing.

We showed up at one of our old Baja haunts and found out there was a wedding and no rooms to be had. I remembered reading about the La Bocana B&B, we told them about our group and our four large dogs and after the...More

I cannot agree enough with everyone's positive reviews. The place was fantastic, Les and Blanca were more than welcoming, and the house location was more than one could hope for. I do want to point out a few things to be aware of when you...More

Thanks for the review. We are indeed chatters. We truly enjoy meeting new folks so that our guests usually become friends! We rarely even lock the house - no crime so no locks. Only on El Nino years does La Bocana get hot - otherwise...More

    Hotel description
La Bocana is famous for its pristine beaches, bareback horseback riding, fishing (yellowtail, dorado, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, marlin and others) and its seafood. Joaquin's Cactus Restaurant is known for its seafood specialties (fish, lobster when in season, shrimp) and his prices cannot be beat. We are a remote fishing village in Southern Baja - our population is 600. If you want a vacation to really escape from a busy life, this is the place to come!

There is excellent surf at Abreojos, which is 10 miles south of us! They have no hotels, so stay with us, eat with us, surf over there!
