Had a great time at this lodge. Arrived late in evening vut was still accomodated with good food (best chips in Malawi) and drinks. Very friendly staff. Lovely self catering cottages. Resort is much prettier that the photos suggest. Had one of the ladies cook for us for dinner at the cottage. Lovely experience. Thanks a lot!

The location of the lodge is lovely - just along the beach - and its setting is nice too. Its biggest pro is the round pretty bar on the beach, which is very inviting and comfortable. Its down side is the interior of the rooms. Ours was crawling with ants, coming from the bathroom and climbing onto our beds. Unfortunately...

The best lodge in Nkhotakota district! Fish Eagle Bay is situated on a beautiful soft sand beach, close only to some sleepy Malawian villages. The rooms are beautiful and you are guaranteed a great night's sleep. The restaurants serves wonderful food - including THE best steak in Malawi. Best of all, you can watch the dhows sailing across the sunset...

Stayed camping at the beach. ON the beach. Super spots. Only us and another car, totally calm. Friendly staff. Restaurant makes Ok food at fair price. The entire place is solar powered (water and lights). Everything seems clean and well Maintained. There also are hobby cat boats for hire. Laundry can also be done. The only major downside taking 1...

A perfect spot for a relaxing few days by the lake - calm, remote and with open access to a large expanse of clean white sand and clean lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we wanted for nothing - my two kids spent most of the time on their own in the lake whilst my partner and...

We stayed here in the off season and it was pretty much dead; however, it is a great spot by Lake Malawi with immediate access to a long sandy beach, and I'm sure the atmosphere improves at busy times. The accommodation is in very pleasant chalets and the staff are available to help with questions. The beach bar/restaurant is delightful...

Thank you for your review. We are an eco lodge with low pressure solar geysers and it takes time for the hot water to reach the shower. We do apologise for the trickle of water, and would like to report that we found roots in the water pipes leading to the shower in Chalet 3 which were removed and pressure...

We returned to Fish Eagle Bay to see Bonnie and Clyde and to shop at the pottery. Very disappointed that the pottery was not operational but delighted to see the dogs safe and well. The camp site is a lovely spot on the beach with adequate facilities.

I am very glad that you came back. Bonnie and Clyde have been making Fish Eagle Bay their home since the beginning of 2008, and I see that the staff really look after them well. I brought them new tick and flea collars and they seem healthy and their friendly selves. Enjoy your travels!! Anchen

Thanks to all the friendly staff for their hospitality and friendly service. I now know why Fish Eagle Bay is well known for the variety of fresh fish dishes. Seeing the full moon rise over the lake from the Sunset Bar was so beautiful and swimming in the clean safe water of the lake was so refreshing. Some of the...

And we had a very nice stroll in the morning without any hassle before we had our nice breakfast. Could not pay with Visa because no...
