We stayed 2 nights in the Twilight room at this spotless and charming B&B near Shuswap Lake. Our hosts, Glenice & Cal, were very friendly, engaging people and we loved Cal's guitar playing and singing. The breakfasts were the best we've ever had at a B&B. There is just one comment we'd like to make about privacy in our room. Although we could lock the door from the inside, we weren't given a key so we could lock it when we left, and not worry about someone coming into our room. While we were away, Glenice came into our room and turned the air conditioning off more than once, and tidied up our bed. It is advertised as having air conditioning, so we assumed it would not be turned off, and we didn't like that the host came into our room without our permission. We didn't see any other comments of this nature, so wonder if we were the only people that had this happen, or perhaps others just didn't want to mention it. It in no way reflects on the quality of this B&B, but we thought others might like to know of our situation so they can address it with the hosts ahead of time.

We stayed two nights in June 2016 and were more than pleased with Abide Somewhere In Time B and B. The hosts Cal and Glenice are top notch people; two of the nicest, warmest selfless people we have ever met. Their home is spotless, beautifully decorated, and finely crafted and finished, mostly by the owners themselves! The highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast. Never have we had such beautifully presented gourmet petit déjeuner meals! Also, we were surprised to receive a 20% discount for being ex-military! We arrived as strangers but feel like we left as friends. We highly recommend this superb BREAKFAST and Bed establishment!

We so enjoyed our stay at this Victorian house located between Sorrento and Salmon Arm. Cal and Glenice, our hosts, were so charming, genuine, and warm. Our spacious Twilight room was spotless, tastefully decorated and comfortable (especially the bed). Glenice presented us with beautiful and tasty breakfasts and regaled us with many humorous anecdotes.. Cal, a man of many talents, is a wonderful storyteller and you also may be lucky to be entertained with his guitar-playing and singing. Just a minute's drive away was a large and well-stocked grocery/liquor store where we purchased hot, take-out dinners over several evenings. In summary, we loved staying at this B&B hosted by this very Canadian couple. Highly recommended.

I am a nieghbour of Cal and Glennice, and their wonderful B&B in Blind Bay. It is beautiful and filled with quality, love and interesting antiques.

This B&B in Blind Bay BC is the culmination of years of planning and preparation by the current owners. They have planned it from scratch for their retirement, built it, furnished it with love, and maintain it with integrity. You will enjoy your stay and like their other guests, will probably make this B&B your home away from home in years to come as you escape your busy city life and come to the Shuswap Lake region of BC.

Enjoy!
