This is a beautiful, peaceful and well presented place to rest where nothing is too much trouble and everything you need for a relaxing stay is provided. Even our 4-legged walking companion was pampered and welcomed throughout the house. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable. Our evening meal was arranged for us at The Black Swan (Ravenstonedale, another...

After our 3rd day of walking the Dales High Way we had the immense pleasure of staying at Brownber Hall! Newly refurbished, spotlessly clean, extremely friendly, great views, comfortable beds, great breakfast, fantastic views, great location, lift to and from the pub.... AND this all included the dog!!! What's not to like!!! Really love this place. Cannot recommend it enough!...

I stayed here in this rural escape on 8 April 2017. Run by very welcoming and thoughtful young couple. Not for you if you are looking for TVs, games, gyms and pools, but ideal for lounging in comfy quiet surroundings reading, listening to music, or walking nearby where red squirrels scurry across the traditional patio and surrounding woodland. Tea, coffee...

Owners have made thus a very pleasant and relaxing environment. The bar downstairs is great too, small and self service - trusting a guests honesty to record...

Peter and Amanda are a young couple who have left, we suspect, high-flying London jobs to create something really special in this unique spot. Close to the motorway (not that you'd know) this is a relatively new venture with a lot of investment in a C19 manor house. It's totally informal and absolutely delightful with an amazing setting looking out...
