Our rooms were above the bar area and very comfortable with a view of the road outside and lots of trees. We arrived late and had a bottle of Shiraz and a cheese board as a late snack, we had already eaten at the Frampton Arms just up the road at Morton. I left the car in the very big...

Had a two night stay with 3 other couples. The rooms had been decorated and furnished to a high standard but the bathrooms were a let down with loo's that didn't flush properly and loose fittings, they also smelt musty and had black mould in several areas. One of the rooms had a faulty shower which wasn't repaired even after...

Met up with friends here - chosen with expectations of good beer and food. Real ale option was only one beer - completely flat (end of barrel I assume). No keg beer option. A second barrel of real ale was then offered - but after taste was clearly the end of another dead barrel! Guinness light on bar - so...

We (younger couple) stayed for one night in September to explore the coast and local area, really pleased to have stayed here, made welcome, very clean, comfy rooms, very comfy bed, great bathroom, breakfast was also nice. We stayed in a room in the main pub itself and Sammie loved the setting! Very rural and very traditional cottage style 👍🏻

Based on reviews and the website we booked but the pub did not live up to expectations. The room was basically clean but had 2 cobwebs and a nonworking lightbulb was not replaced despite our request, The limited menu was fairly basic and mainly game - and despite the accent on daily fish deliveries on the website - they offered...

We stayed here for one night after a weekend in Weymouth. It was a very pleasant experience. It is in a very rural location and the busiest it gets are tractors going by. The room was very comfortable with a soft king size bed. The room was clean and tidy and able to see some of the thatched roof from...

Lovely little pub in a very small hamlet in Dorset. The rooms are very nice and comfortable as well. My only slight gripe would that I felt the food was a little overpriced for the quality on offer. We ate there the first night of our stay but opted to go to Dorchester on night two. All in all a...

We stayed here as part of our On Foot Holiday. Our room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. Had a little table and chairs outside the room where you could enjoy a drink or cup of tea. As we had to leave earlier than the breakfast serving time the staff kindly provided us with breakfast and a small...

Situated deep in the Dorset countryside, yet only 18 minutes drive from our home in Dorchester, we were delighted with the Sunday lunch we recently had here. This is a lovely 15th century pub which also has a few rooms should you wish to stay. Service was warm and welcoming. Menu is quite small but there is a good choice....
