I loved this hotel, located in the quiet country hills near Marquay. The owner has decorated it in African art, collected from her and her husband's time in Africa. The room was clean and large by European standards. I was at the hotel for two nights and had dinner there each night. Prepared by the owner, the food well prepared... More

Our room was compact and cosy. Location was peaceful and tranquil. Great breakfast and owner very friendly. Internet not good as thick old solid walls. We didn't get the same room that we booked, which was bigger. A shame but we only stayed one night.

Stayed here with my wife for one night. The B&B is located in the countryside, and we arranged to have our evening meal at the B&B having read comments in Trip Advisor by previous guests. We were not disappointed. First class cooking.....the magret de canard was superb. Breakfast was equally good. Minor item to complain about was that the room... More

great setting, beautifully finished accommodation down to the smallest detail. 5star restaurant food for dinner and breakfast and very pleasant, friendly staff and owner. Definitely one of the best places I have stayed and also very good value for money. We requested an evening meal rather than driving elsewhere after a long days drive.

This was a wonderful retreat just 10 minutes outside of Sarlat. The room was modern, well decorated, clean, and equipped with a fan if needed. The breakfast was outstanding and the optional dinner was gourmet. The host is very charming and friendly with a willingness to offer advice as needed, but her English is limited so be willing to to... More

A very friendly and inexpensive B&B with few rooms, located about 8 km from Sarlat. The rooms are clean and well maintained but the one we got was VERY small. I think it was the smallest. The place has a sitting place outside. The two ladies who run the place offer a table d'hôte dinner which turned out to be... More

Very friendly reception well situated for side trips. Host very helpful. Rooms very clean with a different decor for each one, each equipped with private bathroom. Very good "table d'hotes" with local produce. Everything was perfect for an enjoyable stay. No a/c, but not necessary .
