Our experience at this hotel forced me for the first time in years to write a review on Tripadvisor. The hotel is not inexpensive and yet of a very basic standard, clearly enjoying its monopoly in town, given its proximity to the local wedding venues (one of which was the reason for our visit). Have eaten here a few times now, the food is very good. The menu is very seasonal, always using fresh, mostly local produce. They also serve some very good wines by the glass. The service is very friendly and the location overlooks the river Main.

Most hotel rooms are in a separate building, spacious, comfortable, with balcony and with lift. The hotel has, however, no terrace, despite the location at the banks of the Main river. The 'Schoene Aussicht' ('Beautiful View') on the Old Town at the other side of the river, notably its castle, can be enjoyed from the room balcony and the restaurant,...

We booked one overnight stay at this small hotel as part of our bike tour along the river Main. The hotel, although for a small village hotel quite pricey, was nevertheless nice..
