There was nobody at the hotel when I was there. I waited more than 4 hours for the owners. No mail, no info. I had to struggle in town with my luggage on a cold day. This is not acceptable. Location might be good if I would be inside!!! Every location is great at that small village. Will never recommend...

Unfortunately, the hotel is too pricey for what it offers: the rooms are old, poorly acoustically isolated, and beg for maintenance. The bathroom is small, with not enough light, and with an "ancient" shower that matches the rest of the room. The room was reasonably clean, but the bathroom was just acceptable (e.g., hairs in the shower). The owner is...

Absolutely appalling. We stayed in room 51 which was tiny, cramped and uncomfortable. The mattresses are old and worn, the towels were threadbare and falling apart, the bathroom has not been touched in 30 years and sound proofing was non existent. There was no hot water in the morning (though it came later ). For the price (125 euros per...

We have stayed several times in this authentic and idyllic hotel in Neubeuern. The owners, Sacha and Sylvia, are very friendly and hospitable! Usually we stay in a spacious family room. The rooms are clean and cosy. At breakfast there is a wide choice of bread, yogurt, muesli, fruit etc. If you wish, there will be an egg boiled. For...

Our stay was in October 2015. Upon arrival, which was late in the evening, we were met by Silvia, who was very welcoming. The owners, Silvia, and Sascha, are very friendly. The pride that they have in this property is evident by the care that is given to it. The feeling you get when staying here it that you are...

We spent one night here on the way to Stuttgart from Bratislava. The room was decent, free parking, but tight. Free WiFi and breakfast. Pleasant host and staff. Reasonable price considering location. You can see the entire village in a fifteen minte walk.

Hidden spot. Very helpful staff. Great restaurant around the corner. We had breakfast at the top floor and because the weather was nice we could sit outside with view on the Alps. They even had gluten free muesli and crackers. If you are cycling this route I suggest you plan this Inn at the Inn in.

As I have lived in this area for over 15 years, I know how hard it is to find a good local hotel that is not "styled" as all of them are in the traditional and rather outdated Bavarian rustic wood with bathrooms last renovated many many years ago. The Burgdacheral is a pleasant acknowledgement that it is in Bavaria...

A wonderful welcome from the owners - very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The hotel is historic and individual; certainly a long way from clinical chain hotels. Quirkiness at every turn, and all in the centre of a beautiful town. Parking has been mentioned in other reviews, but this was available right outside the door. A great breakfast in...

Hotel is an old historic inn and next to church and 800yr old tavern. Rooms were adequate and large, decor is dated, but beds clean and comfortable. Nice views of river valley and mountains. Host very accommodating for early arrival. Booked online and were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the whole experience. Good breakfast.
