The best part of the hotel is definitely the beach to the Peten Itza lake. All of the staff is super nice and attentive, with a great reception with Rosa the Jamaica and some cool Towels. The rooms are fairly comparable, clean an have a small terrace where you can enjoy watching the sunset and stars. Enjoy the jungle sounds...

The hotel is located inside the rainforest, we could hear and see the howling monkeys! The food was very good, excellent quality and taste! What makes this hotel extraordinary is the staff!!! Everybody received us warmly, with a nice and kind welcoming.

Despite its remote location this hotel is excellent in terms of accommodation and service. Our room was large with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Large beds. Swimming pool is great with jacuzzi. Hotel also provided a free sunset boat trip. Restaurant service was a little slow but meals were very good. Only negatives were charges for water and wifi...

My friends and I were incredibly happy with the service and quality of the Camino Real Tikal. For the 3 days we were at the hotel, there had to be no more than 20 guests staying there. It sometimes feels like we had the entire hotel to ourselves! The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests! The room...

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel! It is the epitome of what you expect to find at the heart of Guatemala when you think about the people. The staff are so kind- like southern hospitality from the south which I so love and expect the rest of the world to be if I'm being honest. And a...

This is my favorite Tikal hotel. There are 3 hotels right at the gates of the park, and I dont love being that close; too touristy, etc. This is 45 minutes away, right on the lake, secluded, beautiful views and lots of adventures. we took a boat out on the lake at night to see crocodiles. there were both howler...

Location is really good, isolated with lovely views. Hotel amenities are good. I would recommend except that we had a very bad experience the very last day when we did the check-out and we had the transfer hired with the hotel (to avoid surprises). The surprise was that the transfer bad was not in the hotel, some staff members were...

We spent here 4 days for the independence vacations. Very well located for visiting the most important arqueological sites. Fair price and nice accommodations. Food was good but have to keep it simple. The first night dinner fish was terrible, was fried and breaded, without flavor. The air conditioning in the room has a noise that disturbed sleep. The last...

This hotel is so beautiful! Nice pool and hot tub! Walk to the beach is long but worth every step. I loved waking up at 5am to walk around the grounds and monkeys and birds. So fantastic listening to all the sound on the jungle. My only advise is Front desk staff needs to be more helpful.
