Anilao Outrigger Resort This place is my experience of the Philippines in a nutshell. I have been to the Philippines three times in three years. Anilao is principally a dive resort and as such probably not on the map for the normal holiday maker, which is a shame. Put on a snorkel and literally put your face in the water...

We read the reviews before we booked. We even had a referral from a U.S. dive travel company. This resort is in rural philippines so you have to set " the bar" pretty low as far as accomodations go. This resort still fell below the bar. The rooms smell moldy and there is visible mold on the walls and ceiling...

Makati City , enjoyable outing Our company held our yearly outing at this resort called outrigger in anilao batangas and i was surprised that there is such a nice quiet plac at the bottom of that adventurous stairs. WOW for the shore area. I find myself snorkeling already at the clear water with small marine life swimming arround me. I...

Okay, I booked my room and only then did somebody direct me to this site. I was hoping that it wasn't as bad as the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was much better than the reviews led me to believe! Before checking in, I asked to check out the room. No problem. First, I smelled the...

I am a person of few regrets, but staying at this hotel WHILE paying top dollar for such dismal accommodations is one regret that will stay with me for a while. My family and I went to snorkel, soak up the sun and get some fresh ocean air. What we got were a lot of disappointments, bad ambiance and total...

Friendly staff, bad room, average food, quite not value-for-money. Room is really bad. Smelled of cockroach. Linens and beddings stink. Resort has pool which is not really clean. No lounging area. What is good about this resort is they have a beachfront area for snorkelling, swimming, kayak, and aquacyle.

Booked this place because I wanted to show my friend visiting from Germany how great some of the resorts are in the Philippines. Instead of pride, I only felt shame. The price we paid, approximately USD130 per room per night because it was Easter weekend, was way too much. Even with the food, this place is worth only USD40 per...

Just came back from this resort. Had booked two nights, but only stayed one. On the positive side, it is not a bad location, great view of the bay, some vaguely interesting snorkeling right in front of the hotel. We did not dive, so cannot comment on that. There is a pool with some salt water in it, not very...

My wife and I travelled to Anilao to dive this recent Chinese New Year and stayed at the Outrigger Resort. The 2.5 hour car journey from Manila was smooth with little traffic as it was not a weekend. The arrival experience at the resort was average with very little information being shared with us: We had to do all the asking.The...

We were looking for a nice PADI sanctioned dive resort for a family of four. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The diving and the dive masters were competent and knowledgeable. There was plenty of space for rinsing equipment, fresh water showers, and soap. The rental equipment was adequate. However, the dive shop was limited in available equipment. Recreational equipment (kayaks, paddleboats,...
