The hotel served all my needs for a business trip on short notice. Decent price, good service, good local food and a quiet environment. I think the price is right and it fit all my needs for this business trip. The hotel/conference center is divided in a number of separate buildings: main building, conference center and a few buildings for...

A great hotel for groups. There are good places in and outside to spend evenings with bigger groop. The fine views from the rooms are mainly to the forest and the lake. The rooms are clean and the cleaning service works well. The rooms are renovated quite cheaply but are still very functional. There is noises from the pluming and...

Nice hotel. Rooms are simple as is the breakfastbuffet. A little overpriced. The hotel is beautifully situated though. The highway is just 5 minutes away. Perfect on the route to Stockholm. Nice conferencerooms. Walks in the vicinity of the hotel.

We spent one night at Ekebacken, in the very late summer. Because we'd arrived after the reception office closed, they'd left a note describing how to find our rooms. It turned out our rooms were not on the main site but at another building about half a kilometer back down the road (yeah I measured it on Google Maps!). We...

The hotel was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we were sent to the basement of an outside building to get our two rooms ( we had booked one large family room!). None of the two rooms was cleaned and prepared. Instead, a dirty cleaning cart stood in one of the rooms. Back at the reception, it took about half an...

If you enjoy Scandinavian design furniture Ekebacken is the place to stay. The buildings are all soaked in classics from Danish and Swedish designers. If you're just up for a visit to the lovely surrounding nature or just to relax, Ekebacken can meet your requirements as well. We stayed one night with a 5 year old boy who first enjoyed...

Built back in 1960s as education centre for local paper or timber industry now converted into hotel. Rooms are very simple but cozy and comfortable, some have kitchinette. The walking trails around neigboring lake simply fantastic

The rooms are simply, clean and comfortable. People may find them similar to University dorm rooms but they do the job for a couple of nights business stay. The restaurant is good for both breakfast and lunch (haven't tried dinner yet).
