Driving back to Portugal from France, we needed a convenient place to stay, off the motorway. This little village is ancient with a fab castle and this coach house literally oozing with character. Wonderful people, fab house wine, waiting for dinner. Lovely.

Came here for overnight stay on way from France to Portugal. The great staff team spoke only Spanish- Which we dont) but went out of their way to find a friend to translate on the phone. Amid much laughter and joking, we ordered dinner and wine and spent a fabulous evening celebrating our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. Sitting on the amazing...

Some rooms are much nicer than others, although all have doors on the bathrooms, unlike the neighboring Palacete Maria Rosa. Historic, charming, with good service basically provided by one guy. Avoid the parking fee by driving down the hill a bit.

Helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food, what more can you want in temperatures of 36c plus! Yes there was a pool as well. Not amazing but certainly a good stopover, a tasty meal and a good nights sleep.

We stopped at Palacio Guzmanes on our way to Sevilla, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this little rural hotel, very nice and clean. The room was traditionally decorated, small but functional and well equipped. The balcony has a great view on the Mar de Olivos, an infinite extension of olive plantations really amazing. Swimming pool and balcony areas...

Stayed for a night , staff speaks english , owner nice and helpfull, bed comfortable and the room with charecter. Food seemed slightly overpriced on menue, but what we had from it was very good. Braekfast is a bit of a bummer - under what we expected. But with the view ( oh, there was a swiming pool as well)...

We spent a lovely night in this small rural hotel. Room fascinating, with old style furniture, as a very confortable canopied bed and a sofa. Perfect bathroom, with shower combined with whirpool bath. A lady who welcomed us was very nice from arrival to departure, as for dinner and breakfast. For dinner we tasted local special dishes as partridge patè...
