What a truly fantastic hotel, beautifully architecturally built and designed in a most peaceful village. Top quality for a few days or an overnight stop whilst travelling through Spain. The hotel is spotless, great rooms, public space, restaurant, for evening food and breakfast. The welcome we received was lovely. Do not miss this gem of a Rural Hotel, great credit...

This is simply one of those highlights of a lifetime; once experienced, never forgotten. forget all about a 'class' system! Just savour the welcome from a family whose only desire is to please the customet -and I'm truly glad I broke the journey here to feel the simply beautiful Palentinan landscape, heritage and gatronomy as embodied in Pago de Trascasas....

We visited the place in January, 2014. En route to Portugal we called them to see if they had rooms available. Yes. So we went up there, a drive that brought us to the end of the world, we thought. Place was desolated. Within a couple of minutes a door opened and we were welcomed heartily by the managers mother....

We went this year again to Pago de Trascasas. This time we were 18 people (9 adults and 9 children) and we stayed four days. The hosts Pablos and Ines were great and did everything to make this family reunion unforgettable. We did the winery tour and had two times diner at the hotel. Both things were outstanding. We will...

The hosts were great. The winery tour and tasting was excellent, Palo went to the trouble to do it in English for us. Dinner after the winery tour was also excellent and highly recommended. The location in a very small town for tranquility was great however the noise in the house was loud at times with guests moving around. It...

Nice small boutique hotel, which is run by a family. The building is as mentioned before lovely restored and the rooms are nice. if you want a little more space look for the room Tempranillo. Cost's at weekends a little bit more, but is worth the additional spend. The other rooms are also ok, but really small. Bathrooms in all...

Beautifully restored building, room was very clean and nicely decorated, bathroom small but adequate. Wifi in room. Good breakfast of orange juice, tostadas and coffee. Lounge room with pool table and another smaller lounge/library area with books and brochures about the local area. On site car parking. Easy to find. The village is really nice - in the middle of...

Booked here for a couple of nights break when returning from southern Spain to the Santander ferry. It was booked due to the reviews from Trip Advisor and I am glad I did. Just off the A62 so easy to find and what a pleasure it is driving in Spain! Very kind and helpful staff who spoke a little English....

This is a wonderful family-run boutique hotel and bodega, offering home-cooked food, a personal wine tour and wine tasting. We had a wonderful time. Our room was beautiful, spotless and unique with excellent facilities, including free wifi. The food in the restaurant was delicious Spanish home-cooking. The family were all extremely kind and helpful. They kept us up to date...

This inn is in the wilds, half an hour away from Palencia. It is quiet and well run. It is next to a winery, and the wines are available in the spacious restaurant.and they are very quaffable. Ines is a very fine host and runs the place with a quiet efficiency. The rooms were basic but adequate. However the two...
