Staff very unpolite, place dirty and noisy (close to discotheque), including a pray at 5 am by a speaker! Just cold water and breakfast horrible. Never stay there!! You can find other places around a little bit more expensive a, but much much much better.

It's cheap ok, but I've stayed in cheaper hotels in Bali and Lombok who were much better than that. The mattress was just terrible, I would actually prefer to sleep on the floor I think, the fance is too hight on the roof so doesn't really help with the heat, durty bathroom (spiderweb with spiders too), they don't give you toiletpaper. The breakfest is just plain pancake who taste like caoutchouc ( they don't even make the effort to put banana inside), the staff is not really friendly or smiling. Stay out of there !

We payed 120,000 Rp for a fan room (#2) and therefore got what is expected. The rooms are simple and the walls need a good scrubbing but otherwise the room was clean. There is a social area that has couches to lounge on and the wifi is great. Breakfast includes a pancake and coffee/tea. Coffee/tea all day upon request. Staff is super nice and very helpful. They suggested activities for us at good rates, better than we heard around town, and they were not pushy and recommended local bemo for 5,000 vs private transportation for example. Overall would recommend if this is your price range!

Basically everything in this hotel seems to be broken. The hot water system failed a year ago (according to staff). Toilet did not flush (nor was there any toilet paper), bad smell from the bathroom. WIFI was not working either, nor was the TV, The staff are friendly guys but cannot run a hotel like this. On the positive side the aircon worked pretty well, and the room had a balcony big enough to sit on with 2 people comfortably. The price is low, but this is defnitely not what you want after speding a few days at sea. Didn't even try the breakfast, just headed on an 8 am bus-boat transfer to gili T and was glad to be out of there.

Though it was cheap, but old and dirty. Toilet was not clean, and I was wondering whether the beds were reclaim from dumping area. Trust me ! You always have a better choice ! Go stay in tent rather than this hotel !

I first came to the place with a friend and came back then alone : the two experiences were good. Really nice adress in Senggigi, it really worth the price you paid. You have your own bathroom and the staff is really friendly. Perfect when you need to spend 1 or 2 nights there. They also can arrange you scooter rental easily with good bikes. Breakfast is ok.

Well-located, friendly staff and cheap price. The room was comfortable enough for 3 nights but the shower was not working very well... Breakfast was included (banana pancakes and coffee). No wifi in the room, only in the common area. If you are interested in doing the Rinjani trek, they also offer a cheap package. We got it for a very good price, the cheapest we found in Senggigi!

For only 150,000 RP, Hotel Elen is okay. The mattress was comfy enough (not hard like a lot of others in SE Asia), the room was pretty clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was near eateries. It was a little dingy, WiFi didn't work in the room (but it worked in the lobby), and it's near a mosque, so 5 am means loud mosque noises. Luckily we were awake by then anyway to leave for our Rinjani trek. If you're looking for a cheap place for one night in Sangeggi and you don't care about amenities, this should be fine.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! I didn't sleep at all during the night and spent all of it chasing the bugs and other insects out of the bed. I ended up sitting in the common area at 3am, trying to stay awake... The bed was also dirty (covered by some weird spots). And the bathers on is gross, within toilet paper (no joke, we have to buy our own...). Don't go there! The common areas and the wifi are the only good things... But I am not paying a hotel to spend the night freezing outside and exhausted.

Because it's in Lonely Planet and has mixed reviews we decided to give it a shot! But I wouldn't go there or recommend it. I woke up with BED BUG bites and found some in my bed. When I told them they didn't seem to care. There were ants in my friends bed. They didn't give us toilet paper because "it's cheap only 30,000" in other words go get it your self. There's no towels. The blankets are questionable and there was garbage under my bed. The breakfast is a dry pancake. That's it. And instant coffee or tea. There's no pool to speak of or fitness center. Yes it's cheap but I wouldn't stay again. There's also not much to do here so I would continue on to a better hotel if your coming. We only needed two nights and the first night was weird but ok the second was too much. I would have moved if we weren't already leaving.
